Update on my hospice post

I am so sorry to hear about the loss of your mom. My deepest sympathies to you during this very difficult period in your life.

Hospice services began on Tuesday, and DM passed away today. I think the
hospice people were terrific, but we didn't get to experience the full spectrum of what they have to offer. Knowing what I know now, I would say don't wait too long. They could have done a lot for my mother during the past 6 months or so. Thanks again to all who posted

I wish we could have gotten my boyfriend's dad in sooner too. They were wonderful to us. Such a difference to the hospital.

I am so sorry Micca. I lost my mother 10 years ago and I miss her every day. Hugs to you.

Sorry for your loss. My mom only had hospice care for a week last September. They came on a Friday to see her the first time and she died the following Friday (rapid liver failure). They were so helpful in getting us everything we needed to keep her comfortable.
