I apologize for not getting to this sooner, but after I got back from a week helping my Dad recover from his surgery, I just about collapsed as soon as I got home. I am sooooooo glad to hear that your mom pulled through her surgery with flying colors My dad had a couple of arteries that were 80% blocked and thankfully, they were able to put stints in and he has been fine ever since
I know how tough it is dealing with the quality vs quantity of life issue, but I am sure glad that you have siblings there to talk things through with. When everything was looking so horrible for my mom in 2004, my brother, who lives outside Denver, was absolutely NO HELP !! In fact, he is clueless as to what I do for OUR parents
Anyway, I know everything will work out and YES your Mom will turn around and take care of your dad
