The kids got back last Monday night. They were exhausted, and some of them were really, really ready to be home. (The only reason my DD wanted to come home was to see the dogs!
) We all met them at the airport, and it was great to see the group together one last time. We have 3 kids who have graduated, so this little core group of drama kids is now split in different directions. They LOVED Scotland and enjoyed London. I think they would have loved London just as much if they had more than two days there. Anyway, thanks to everyone for your advice. As expected, she fried the hair dryer, but that's what I told her would happen.
She thinks UK sandwiches are "weird," and loved it when she finally got an "American" sandwich. (translation: mayonnaise and not butter or dry!) She loved the Scottish dinner (which contained no haggis) with barley soup, salmon and veggies, and sticky toffee pudding. She is begging me to go to Publix and get Irn Bru and Walker's chips. (prawn cocktail????)

Now it's time to get started on the new year of drama!
