Just having a look at Tesco's range of Clubcard deals and noticed this on the Cresta deals (all brochures)

"If you have been saving your Clubcard Vouchers for Cresta, you must have ordered your Tokens and made your booking by 31st October 2006"

I know a lot of us have started saving to use our tokens for the DLRP holidays but this makes me wonder if Cresta are leaving the scheme. :confused3

Edited to add the same applies for Bridge.

Thanks for pointing that out Jill. It would be a shame if they are leaving the scheme - how many other DLP options would be left?

Thanks for the heads-up. Looks like they could be exiting the scheme :confused3

no no no!!! please don't say this. I have been saving up for our 2007 holiday (would be booking in Aug 2007). Awwww no:(

The only other DLRP option is through Leger - however they only cater for some of the cheaper hotels with limited booking options. I also thought that Leger was connected to this group? Perhaps they are not getting enough bookings for Explorers (which is part owned by Cresta/Bridge/Leger). I think I may shuffle off and have a cry - will I ever get back to DLRP :sad1:

Oh that is a shame!:confused3

One other option is French Life. They have three Hotels close to DLRP which are Disney selected Hotels and also the Pierre and Vacances appartments at Val D'Europe. Not the same as staying on site I know but at least you can use your Tesco vouchers.

Leger only run trips on certain dates and the choices are very limited.

Aww no, don't think like that - I'm sure it will work out for you some way or another.

I emailed both Cresta and Tesco.

Cresta says the contract runs out in October for Cresta/Bridge/Tradewinds and at this point they are unsure what will happen after that date. They will have a better idea when the August (Tesco) brochure comes out.

Tesco have confirmed that Cresta/Bridge/Tradewinds ARE pulling out of the Deals scheme. If they can find a suitable replacement then they will. We will know more in August when the deals brochure comes out. But at this point the only other option for DLRP is to use Leger.

Have to say that both companies were prompt with responses upfront with the info.
