if you are getting ready to go to DW and have been using info from all ears. net, please note the following info: (they have incorrect info listed)

Last week I tried to buy annual passes at the airport. NO ANNUAL PASSES or vouchers sold at either disney location in the Orlando Airport. We had read on allears.net that they were sold there and had planned to purchase annual passes at airport. Both locations said they no longer sell annual passes or vouchers.

Also, the All Stars Sports Resort NO LONGER sells annual passes or vouchers at the hotel. The all ears said as of June 1st they would be sold in the hotels. The lady there said they did for a short while but are no longer able to. There is no longer a key for that in their system. So you cannot check in without an annual pass if you are using it for a room discount.

Hope that helps someone -- it was a huge hassle for us.

I'm not doubting you one bit but I've bought AP in airport in past and Resorts did sell AP's at concerage desk in mAy.

I'm going to be upgrading my MYW tickets to an AP in November. Hopefully I can do it at my resort but I won't be in a pickle for if it isn't doable any longer.

I was in Pop last month and had to show the pass to recieve the discount. It wasn't that big of deal.

your right it isn't that big of deal. I have only had to show AP once and that was a new "earning" ears CM at ASMu. I have always had AAA card or Ap so am entitled to discount, just might not have it in easy reach at checkin.

We have bought at the airport in the past years ago but as of recent;ly, they no longer have the annual passes or vouchers. I don't know when they stopped selling them but as of June 23, they do not sell them. And the lady at All Stars said they did sell AP's for a short time starting June 1 but are no longer able to at All Star Sports -- I have no idea how it is at other disney hotels.

We were planning to buy at the airport and when we couldn't, we checked again on all ears. It said we could and also could at the resort. but when we got to the resort - we could not.

FYI: If you have booked an AP rate, but don't have the AP in hand when you check in, they will usually give you 24 hours to produce it before they bump you up to rack-rate for the room. Many DIS-ers report never having to show their AP at check-in anyway. We've used AP rates and military rates and have had to show the proper ID maybe half the time.

unfortunately not the case at All Star Sports. They have cracked down on this apparently.

Ugh, now you have me worrying about my April plans... I'm upgrading a MYW ticket to an AP, but depending on flights and childcare plans (I'll be solo :woohoo: ) I might be getting in too late to go to guest services that night. My understanding is that I have to go to guest services at one of the parks to upgrade? Or can they do it at the resort?

Sounds like you had some bad luck. They will usually give you a day to get your AP after checking in and keep your discount. Not sure if they really are cracking down on that or if you just got a nitpicky CM.

I can confirm that I tried to upgrade our tickets to AP at the Grand Floridian earlier this month and I was also informed that they no longer upgrade or sell AP's at the resort. I was also told they were able to do "for a very short while" but that it recently changed back that they cannot do AP upgrades at any resorts.

I forgot to say that I emailed all ears.net and told them so they can correct their info on the web site.
