How were we just able to book 4 nights at CSR for $330 including tax? That comes out to some ridiculous rate of ~75 or less a night b/4 taxes? Anyone know what pixie dust sprinkled us tonight? We ended up switching our ressies from POR for 3 nights to CSR for 4 nights for the same total $.

We used our AP's to make our reservations for July3-July7/2003. He said they were having a "special" but that still didn't sound right. DH made the ressies, so I guess I'll have to call this a.m. to make sure everything is as he said.

Thanks,
Heather

Maybe you misunderstood and you now have concierge at $330 a night?

Even AP doens't get CR for that price! Wow!

I'd call and confirm that they booked it right. We were given a too-good-to-be-true rate for our trip, and it turns out that the CM booked 5 days instead of 6. Better safe...

I got CSR for $84.00 (pre-tax)with my AP. There is no concierge at CSR, although they do have suites.

Did those quotes include tax?

We had a rate of $82 per night at CSR for Memorial Day weekend,
including tax.
I can't remember if it was a Florida Resident or Annual Passholder discount.
We loved the resort!
Have a great vacation!

If that is your rate, you will be very happy!!! We paid $109 (in peak sason) and thought it was SUCH a bargain!!! It's a STEAL at $75! We paid $84 at CBR and thought it was fair.

We paid something close to $75 with our AP's in February. When are you going? That may have something to do with it.

I know the FL resident rates are usually fantastic, and don't they sometimes extend them to neighboring states, like GA?

In any case, congrats & have fun!

Am I the only one confused......are we talking about CR or CSR?

I would call back and make sure they booked you for 4 nights and not 3.

I just called to make sure and YES -she said that was an excellent rate for AP's and it's $74/night +tax bringing it to $82.50 a night. The ressie was for 4 nights!! That's excellent. We wanted to add another night just thought we'd have to go down to an All Star property to do so. We've never stayed Moderate b4 so this will be something different for us to try.

Congrats on a great rate at a relly great resort. We think CSR is the top of the moderates--much better amenities than the others. This will really spoil you! Enjoy;)

We paid $84 per night for POR ap rate in May. Wonder what the moderate resort AP rate will be in September ??????

We have POR in August- "Room Only" , 10 nights for $936 with the AP rate.

I just called and inquired about the lower rate that you got
($82.50 after tax) and they said "we have no idea where that price is coming from". All Mods are the same price...at least thats what the CM said.

Good for you...someone did sprinkle Pixie Dust on your ressie. Have a GREAT time.

I paid an AP rate of $74 per night, before tax, for CSR in May. However...I had a parking lot view and it kind of spoiled the stay for me. I felt guilty asking for a better view since I was getting the room so cheap. We were moving to VWL after 3 nights and I didn't want the hassle....

CSR is fabulous for $74 though.

So, make sure you are not stuck out in Timbuktu for your $74 per night! Or ask to upgrade to waterview for (I think) $10 more.

Hmm, that is interesting! We are booked at CSR from 7/16-7/20 and the rate is in the 80 dollar a nite range, I know it is like $93.xx with tax. Wonder how you got that great rate?

I would carefully check the confirmation when it comes just to be sure there is no other "catch". if not you got an excellent rate-good for you!

I have the same rate at CSR for June 28 thru July 1st $74 pre tax. Then $59 for the next 6 nights at Allstar Music. Both are AP rates that are for check-in on or before July 3rd.

We checked in on 5/29 and this was the same rate we were given... it was a Florida resident discount. And we were greatly surprised to see we weren't given parking lot view which I expected! We were Cabana's section 8B, facing the quiet pool. We also thought it was a fantastic rate :D

Ap rates for moderates: 4/28-7/3 is $74 per night 7/4-8/23 is $84 per night. We were lucky enough to get the $74 rate when we stayed at CBR in May. Have a great trip!
