Does anyone have the times for this event?

****Updated:

Just wanted to say that DS did this last Sunday and it was so fun! We got there right at 11:30 as the first session was starting and each child got a paper chef hat (I'll post some pics when I get them back!). The kids all seemed to have fun mixing the cookie ingredients. After they were done spooning the cookies onto the cookie sheets a CM took them away and the "magic oven" cooked the cookies instantly ;) They left with a nestle bag of two cookies and a little container with chocolate morsles in it. The best part is that it was free and a great alternative to the GF experience (we made ressies but cancelled).

It's definately a must do IMO!!

I just posted this on another thread. The 2 times my kids have done this which was this past July and December, it was offered on the half hours starting at 12:30, and ending at 4:30. We were told to arrive about 15 minutes before the scheduled time, which we did and had no problem getting in. The whole cookie making process takes about 1/2 hour.

My 8yo sis did this in March and had a blast! The kids each got to help add ingredients and stir the dough. Then they scooped out the cookies. They were taught good cooking habits along the way. At the end, they each got to take two cookies and their chef hats.

Thanks for the replies!!! I have DS scheduled for the Grand Adventures In Cooking at the GF for around $30, but since this is free, and money is tight, I think I'll cancel that one.

This sound very interesting. Where is it? What part of the land?
What age? What time? 12:00 and 4:00

The cookie making takes place downstairs in the land, on the far end of where the food stands are.
Im not sure if there is an official age limit, either way, but I know my youngest did it at age 3 and no one ever questioned us on his age(hes small too).
I didnt think I explained the time time clearly in my previous post. Sorry. ;) They had it at 12:30, 1:30, 2:30, 3:30, and 4:30. Im not sure if thats when it always is, but thats what it was the 2 times we were they. They have a little sign with the times listed right out in front.
Hope that clears it up some, ang. :D

I believe in early Oct. when my kids were Jr. Chefs it was at 12:30, 1:30, 2:30, 3:30 & 4:30. My kids had a blast getting the Chefs hats and the cookiese they "baked" :)

The Land is closing soon if it hasn't already for the "Soarin" ride to go in and whatever other changes they are making. I just hope they keep the "Lion King eco movie" and Garden Grill. Just check the dates before you make any firm plans.

It wasn't closed as of Saturday. They have the area blocked off where Food Rocks and the gift shop used to be though, as that is where the new ride is going.

We are going January 12 and it is my understanding that the whole Land pavillion will be closed then. I couldn't make a PS for the Garden Grill so I am certain that will be closed. "The Cirlce of Life" will also be closed during our visit, but I don't know what the plans are for it long term. Just be sure to check before you plan too much on the cookies!:)
