It’s like being asked to go live in a college dorm room with roommates after you’ve experienced owning your own home….

I guess this is why I am a studio person, because that sounds fun to me, at least for a few days. The main thing I like about the one bedrooms at Disney World is being able to have a soaking tub after a day schlepping around the parks.

Going to Disney with my teenaged cousins is the worst Rides only, no interest in shows, parades, eating at nice places or the cultural epcot presentations, all the things I prefer doing.

lol, this has been me from age 7-40, only recently do I appreciate those things now that I have kids (and a disability that makes long queues challenging).

Sounds great! What resort and community hall?

Bay Lake! We went to Chef Mickeys for lunch. We aren’t even staying there but it was convenient to pop out of MK and go there. This trip has been interesting from a heat perspective. I thought it was better than anticipated; feels better than Tokyo in summer but the sun is so strong. My kid who doesn’t normally complain about heat wilted pretty quickly and said she hopes the next trip is in winter again.

I love this. Sounds like a great time to me. Enjoy it while you can. I loved the way we did Disney when my son was younger, taking it slow absorbing all the vibes. Now that he is older it’s go go go and a such a whirlwind that I miss being able to soak it all in.

Next time I am bringing an umbrella!

My little has told me she wants to visit all the countries in Epcot on this trip. Which makes me laugh; it’s so un-kid like! But other cultures fascinate her.

If you weren’t already aware, each pavilion has a kidcot stop— they give you a postcard with a drawing on one side and some trivia or activity on the other. There’s usually a Pin trading board adjacent to the Kidcot stop.

Have you already done the pretty glass craft in Germany? I heavily considered making a suncatcher but didn't end up with enough time to devote to it. Next time!

They have nightlights, suncatchers, trinket trays that you can make. It’s a little kiosk in Germany. You create it, they fire it to fuse the glass, and then mail it to you.
