Update - going w/the Tempur-pedic bed...now which one?

My Temper-pedic was delivered exactly one hour ago. It was sitting in the delivery truck overnight so it's pretty firm right now. As it warms up in my bedroom it should soften a bit (I hope).

We got the Rhapsody. We went twice to the store and laid on all of them. We had narrowed down our choices to the Rhapsody, Deluxe, and sorry can't recall the 3rd model. It's funny, but my DH and I had been leaning towards the deluxe initially, but when we came back to the store for the second time, we both overwhelmingly preferred the Rhapsody.

You've got to lay down on all of the models...and definately take off your coats to test the beds. Makes a big difference. Any other questions I'm glad to help.

Can you just buy the mattress or do you have to buy a foundation w/it?

we purchased the deluxe adjustable.....best decision we ever made!

I don't remember which one we actually got but it's the pillowtop model. I read somewhere that the pillowtop is better if you are a side sleeper.

We got the standard box thing to go underneath because we no longer had a platform bed. If we had a platform, we wouldn't have gotten the box thing at all.
