Update for those waiting for Permanent Mebership Card

Just wanted to fill everyone in if you are still waiting for your permanent membership card. We sent our paperwork in for our purchase of SSR on July 12. Our settlement date was August 14. We got our membership cards in the mail August 30. I wasn't expecting them so soon, but they brought a smile to my face. Now I can't wait until my 11 month window opens up to book our first trip home next August.

Thanks for the update puffkin - We closed on 8/12 but are still waiting for our cards. My 11 month window opened over this past weekend so I was able to make my first reservation on Monday

I sent our paperwork back to DVC on July 19th, they received it on July 21. I was never told when my closing date is scheduled for. Should they have told me or is it in my memberkit paperwork (if so, can someone steer me in the right direction to find it?). I would assume it should be getting close for us - right?

We, too, mailed our paperwork in on July 19 - our deed recorded on August 11 (earlier than they told us it would be!) and we received our permanent cards TODAY (Sept. 2)!!! I was so excited - an unexpected treat in my mailbox today!

Like you, I closed on August 11 and received my permanent card today. I was expecting it in October or so.
