Day 5- We needed a break from DW, so we drove 2.5hrs to Siesta Key just south of Sarasota. The sand was powder soft, I have never felt sand so soft. It was nice, very clean...ok minus the dead fish but other then that it was nice. I think the constant waves overwhelmed DDs' but we spent lots of time looking for seashells and making sand animals. It was a nice relaxing day with sun!
Day 6 - I was not excited about going to Animal Kingdom but we paid for the tickets we should use them. It turned out to be a fun day. Not crowded, lots of shade and I didn't feel like I was at Disney. Kids LOVED the boneyard and the Dinosaur ride. The Dinosaur at the end almost made all of us pee in our pants but other then that it was great! We walked on and rode Kali Rapids (x2) got soaked and walked on to "It's Tough To Be A Bug". Again my DD4 kept the glasses off but still seemed to like it. We waited only 10min for the Safari ride, it was VERY bumpy. We went to Rafiki's Planet Watch, it was kind of neat and DDs got to meet Stanley. We then headed back for the Jungle Parade, which was cute. After dinner at the hotel, we got some icecream and watched Sponge Bob Sq Pants in the hotel theater and played at the little playground to end the night.
Day 7- Time to come home to IL. We decided not to waste the day so we went to Typhoon Lagoon. We had a blast there. DDs' loved the kiddie area and we couldn't get enough of the wave pool.
Despite the humidity and 90 degree heat, it was worth having little to no wait in line! Picture link at the bottom, enjoy!
