UPDATE - Fall / Holiday Swap NOW FULL

Okay first let me say this will be my first time hosting so please be patient with me.

I know many of you already express an interest of what you want to do but I got dizzy trying to figure it out. So, if you have already started something just sign up for it and we will make it all work.

I checked with post office and I would like to send these out Priority Mail in the envelopes they use which are hard cardboard. The cost is $3.85 no matter where you mail it to they told me. So, if noone objects this is how I will send your items back to you so please include the above postage. I have saved several pieces of cardboard so don't worry about sending extra if you don't have it.

Okay here goes:

Fall

Tags - 2 per person, embellished, must include either fibers or eyelets in the holes - Spinning, RRBB, PattyT

Journal Boxes - 2 per person, at least a 2x2 writing area - WendyZ

Borders - Vertical 11 inches in length - CrazyforPooh, OhMom

You can sign up for either Fall or Holiday or Both. I will keep the sign ups open till August 30th or until filled which ever comes first.
Then we can see how many people we have to make for and when they will be due.

Also can I suggested that everyone puts the DIS name on their items and on their outside envelopes.
I like the idea of the envelopes. I felt werid last time some people were under $2 and some were over depending on the size of the envelope and the packing stuff they sent.
So glad you are hosting! It is really neat to see all the stuff!

We can always have more than one person doing the same item because it really wouldn't be the same with two different creative peopel doing the same item. So, come join the fun.

Just curious, have you decided what "filled" means since you mentioned that we can have more than one person do each element? For those of us that plan to start working on this (or already have) before the end of sign-ups, can you give us an idea if there's a maximum number you have in mind.

Hi! I'm new to this forum. I have never been involved in a swap, but would love to join this one! I would like to sign up for the Holiday Borders. Since I'm new, I don't really know what's expected. Do you just want 11" paper borders for everyone to decorate themselves? Or can I decorate them with stickers, etc?
Any ideas or rules for the swap would be great! Thanks!
