Thanks for posting this! I ordered a ton from Amazon for the holidays and I know I ordered a movie and it had a special for US WEEKLY. I never received a follow-up email after I received the DVD so I started emailing Amazon and just went in circles. They wouldn't even acknowledge US WEEKLY was offered and did nothing to help me. I let it go at the time and said I would look into further when I had a few minutes. I did receive the order confirmation validating I was offered this but again, it got me nowhere.

Did you just receive the email today with the offer eventhough you ordered something that qualified awhile back? Perhaps they've received enough complaints now and they are finally getting around to emailing people?

I got that offer from something I bought at Amazon. I took them up on Rolling Stone for DH, but look closely - mine said it was an automatic renewal subscription. Hopefully I will remember to cancel next year if we don't want it anymore!

if you had scrolled down there was an option for no auto renew, sorry you missed that.

I think when I purchased my DS touch it said it would be at least 7 days after the item shipped.

If you look up the order on Amazon, the will be a button "manage your subscrption"
Even if you had entered auto-renew when you placed the order, you can change that through that link
