Update 9-11 MCS!...Can we keep it a surprise???? Our June trip to WDW w/ pics

Wait...they make Disney maternity shirts?! I had no idea. I just bought a size larger and hope that they fit. Do they sell them outside of Disney?

I know that they used to have them... but DH "looked" for one at the World of Disney in CA and did not find one... I asked if he asked a Cast Member, in which he looked at me as if I had three heads! So the jury is still out!

I found your new PTR!! It sounds like things are going wonderfully for you-- a new house, a new baby boy, and a new trip to Disney!! Congrats!

We stayed at POFQ when we went to Disney in January. We LOVED it! When I made ressies, I asked to close to the food court and bus stops, since we had small kids with us. They put us in building 4, room 4226. It was a SWEET location. One of our windows actually overlooked the food court and we were about 200 yards from the bus stop. As long as we were on the resort, we never needed the stroller and Liam (our little one) was only 21 months old!

Your plans look awesome! I can't wait to see new pics and hear more about your trip!

Thanks for joining!

I promise I had intentions of getting an update! However we have had no internet again.... but know I am back.

Here is a field trip Picture from the farm we went to... it was the best trip, lots of animals for the kids to pet and tons of great information for them to learn!

Then we went to the zoo! Boy the flowers were so pretty, the girls loved it!

It was such a great zoo day... I hope we get to have some fun this weekend outside too!

As for planning.... I am sure we will still fork out the money for the double stroller.... for DH it will be worth every dime. Two days is all we will pay for, we have one day left from our last trip. DH was also glad to hear about Chef Mickeys.... he likes to go there!

More planning and getting ready reports this weekend!

Looks like a beautiful day! the girls are so cute! 2 days to rent the stroller isn't too bad. Sometimes you have to do what is convenient.:goodvibes

Great pics! What a perfect zoo day! I want to get DD to the zoo before school gets out and it is crazy there.

If your DH "looked" for your shirt like mine would "look" I can guess why he didn't find it. ;) I went and bought a regular Disney shirt in a size bigger and it seems to fit fine. I'm sure it will hug the belly a little closer by the time of our trip, but it may be something you would consider or even borrowing one of DH's shirts if he has any Disney shirts.

I think what ever is easiest is what you guys should do about the stroller. I agree that the stroller prices are CRAZY but you have two LOs and you are prego. so you can't help that much. This trip should be all about fun for your family of 4 before you become 5.

What an adorable picture of the girls! I cannot believe how big they have gotten since the ones from last summer. That looks like a terrific day for the zoo. We need to get there soon!

OMG those pics of the girls going into the fountains are just too precious! Em looks like she's on a mission! The newest pics of them at the farm are great.

Sounds like your DH "looks" for stuff like mine does! :headache:

So this week we are getting ready for a Garage Sale. It is our neighborhood one, but I am in a bit of a panic... I have a lot to get out and priced still. We are parting with a lot of baby girl stuff.... yesterday a friend came and "raided" but I still have a lot. Hopefully though we will sell a lot of the stuff. I am also printing my packing list and reviewing... I hope to get a "shopping" list going soon!

So I finally called WDW today and gave them our flight information! We arrive in Orlando on the 6th around 9:30 and will be departing on the 12th around 6:00. It will be nice to have the last day pretty much a full day.

Calling CRO with my flight info made everything so real! Are you landing at 9:30 AM or PM? I can't remember.

I saw you mentioned a sub garage sale. I forgot it was that time of year. I might have to start driving around the area. I've got my heart set on finding my boys a used Cozy Coupe!

Yeah! Getting the flight info makes everything more real! I go pick up my Docs today, so I'm super excited as well. :)

Soon we will have to get really busy! It will be a little tough leaving the day after school is out... but I will just have to be super organized.

Packing List: I am sure there are missing items, but this is the start that I have made. I am a little worried, we like to check everything so that in the airport we have our hands free. However, with the fact that the airlines are getting stingy... we can only check 4 bags. DH will hate this packing nightmare. Plus we also need to pack for swimming once we arrive.

The only thing that I am ordering to be delivered is Water from Costco. I will buy 1/2 gallon of milk at POFQ for our cereal and for the girls. DH and I will get the refillable mugs... what do they look like this year? I need to see a pic!

Hopefully, there will be a room ready when you arrive so you can crash and get all comfy and do normal naps etc. In the POFQ FC, there is an activity when the kids get a sugar cookie and sprikles and get to decorate them all up fancy from 11 to 12 every day. I remember Hannah was a real fan of the crafts at WL... and thought she might enjoy that as well.

I'd offer to come over and shop, but I am guessing the things you are selling are not what little boys like. :lmao:

POFQ still has the Year of a Million Dreams mugs. I can take a pic, but I think you had them last year during your WL stay?

Did POFQ do anything else- do you remember? Also which building would you recommend? I know I want a first floor room... no stairs or elevator with a pregnant lady. I think DH thinks me checking in is his lucky charm... who would give a pregnant lady a far away room?

I can't remember anything else going on, but Doug was still napping every day so we didn't do a whole lot in the afternoons. The cookie thing was not publisized at all. There was a CM walking around outside as we were checking in who gave us the scoop.

We were in building 4 which was RIGHT next to the food court and the closest to the buses. We were also pretty clsoe to the playground, to the point where we'd ahve to walk the long way near naptime. ;) It was kind of far from the pool, but it was a perfect spot for us as we were there in Jan. When people say there really isn't a bad choice at POFQ, they are right!

Ohhh, I will totally have to remember that too!

There really isn't a bad room location anywhere at POFQ -- we stayed in Building 7 last year (the farthest from everything) and it was maybe a five-minute walk to the pool and food court.

Your packing list looks great. Do you need to bring any motrin or benadryl for the girls? It is really expensive in the gift shop. My DD is 23 months and last week at my parents house we used 45 diapers for 1 week if that helps at all.

We stayed in building 7 last year as well. It was the farthest building, but that's not saying much for POFQ. It was a nice walk in the morning to fill the mugs and clear my head without DD and DH. It was at the most 5 minutes, but I'm thinking it was less. You really can't get a bad building, IMO, at POFQ.
