All of transfers I made for our trip 2 weeks ago literally fell apart (shredded) after going through the washer 1 time. :sad2: DS is very upset that his monorail shirt is ruined, so I need to have it professionally made. I want to upload the design and have it made into a shirt for him ASAP. Who does this? Zazzle? Thanks for the help.

Oh, and I used the dark transfers from the Ebay lady. They'd always lasted YEARS before, and this time they fell apart after 1 wash. :scared1: What a waste of time and money. So are there any transfers that seem to last longer?

Oh I am so sorry. What a bummer. I have had good success from the ebay lady but haven't purchased from her in about a year.

I have used Zazzle and Cafepress and both have turned out good. I can't remember which of the two sites it was but one of them sent me an email after I uploaded the Disney images and said that the images were being reviewed for copyright issues. A day later I received an email saying they were printed and on their way. This was about 3 years ago.

Did you ask for the "premium" ones?

Now, I am nervous, I thought that I would give them another shot and just received my order of 25 in the mail.

I guess I better do a "test" shirt first.

I have ordered a few in the past from an online site
www.transfertechnology.com
Overall I was impressed. I am not sure that the colors were as vibrant but they looked nice and washed well. I ordered the ink jet single step opaque.

I am not sure if zazzle will print designs with Disney references because of copyright but it may be worth a shot.

Sorry I can't be of more help.

Yes, Amy, I did ask for the Premium after your warning. They are AWFUL! I mean, all the ink is gone, the transfers themselves shredded. And I used the same printer, shirts, etc that I've always used. Rees is so upset that his monorail shirt is junk now, so I promised I'd make it a 'real' one for him.

I don't know if this will help you because you may not want to print them all over again. I bought the hp iron on and they are the best I have ever used. I have washed several shirts a few times and they have held up. I know how terrible you feel because this happened to me when I used Avery transfers for walk shirts. I never did find out why.:confused3
A lot of places may not print due to copyright issues so maybe you can print one shirt and wash it to see how it hold up. Best of luck to you.

I've tried to have some shirts done with Zazzle and they wouldn't print them due to copyright issues. I'm so sorry to hear that Rees is upset, I found a new Avery product for our cruise shirts, they are stretchable tranfers, you can only use them on light fabrics but they feel great. I don't know how they hold up yet.

 I hope you're able to replace the shirt for Rees

I've been very pleased with the 60 shirts I made - about 50 with HP all worked well. Only 1 of about 10 from Avery tore to shreds in the dryer on the first drying (low cycle).

You might try Vista Print. They now have shirts and I have used Disney images to make address labels and never had a problem. They always have specials and sometime you can get the shirt for free just pay shipping.

I just ordered it at Cafe Press. We'll see what happens. I may go buy some HP transfers too. Which ones seem to work best and LAST? I made shirts in 2005 with the Ebay ones that still look brand new, and yet these fell apart after one wash.

Update: Rees' shirt arrived today from Cafe Press! And then 20 minutes later I got an email saying they might review a picture in my account, but I had deleted it right after ordering the shirt. I guess I squeaked by, and I am so happy! He's very excited.
