My thoughts and prayers are with you and your family. My dad has been battling prostate cancer for six years. He had a RP, radiation, hormonal therapy and most recently, chemo. Cancer is a hard disease to deal with, but be so grateful for the time that you have now! Keep the faith. There are many promising treatments right around the corner.

Our prayers are with you both. DFIL had prostate removed, then the cancer recurred and he received radiation therapy. That was 6years ago, and although he has other health issues, Cancer is not one of them. Keep the faith.

I have prostate cancer. It has been 8 years now, still going, living with it. I had radiation treatment which for most is nothing to be concerned about. There are about 37 treatments in all if I remember. It took my PSA down to zero for some time then the PSA went up again. I am still going strong and expect to for many years. I live every day, don't waste them. Love, and Live.

Can't tell you how much these messages have meant! It was DVC that helped me stumble into the DIS and you have all given me such HOPE. I loved finding well wishes here, even in the middle of the night when I couldn't sleep. Thanks again, everyone.
