I'm still walking around taking pics...
Finally, with the laundry washed and mostly dry (the dryers apparently can only handle 5 pieces of clothing at a time and I knew I should have let them go for another cycle but I was tired of waiting), I went back to the room to start packing. Tomorrow would be our last full day!
Here is Lumar, still unconscious, the poor guy:
Around 3:30pm, he woke up for a few minutes and told me he felt a little better but not by much. I called and canceled our dinner ADR that was supposed to be at Jiko at 5:35pm. Since I wasn't sure how he would be feeling the next day either, while I had the CM on the phone I also canceled our breakfast ADR for The Wave for the next morning.
So I did all of the packing except what we needed for the next two days, and I organized all of our receipts and the stuff we were going to ship home from the gift shop.
I know it was dark when Lumar finally woke up again but I don't know what time it was. All I knew is that I was starving. I managed to convince him to come down to the Pepper Market with me and to come to the pool with me after that.
El Centro at night:
This was in the gift shop:
And this was my dinner...a tuna sandwich. It was OK but kind of dry. I should have put some mayo on it and it would have been better.
We headed to The Dig Site and Lumar actually came swimming with me for a few minutes. Somehow, it helped him feel better so I'm glad. He told me that he was pretty sure it was the cheese sauce from Casey's the night before that made him sick. It was the only thing that made him feel ill every time he thought about it.
So we headed back to the room after about 20 minutes and passed these guys hanging out over someone's door:
When we got back to the room we made a crazy, ridiculous, absolutely insane plan for our last day.
But you'll have to wait for the next update to hear about it! MWA HA HA!
