I understand that Hollywood Studios has the cast of Up! signing autographs where Bolt used to be. I read somewhere that they will only be there through Halloween. I also read that they will be there through the end of the year. Which is correct? We are visiting WDW in Dec. and my boys just love DUG!

i've been wondering this myself! LOVE those characters and would love a pic w/ them myself hehe :cutie:
hopefully someone will have an idea when they will be there to :thumbsup2

My husband said that he thought the cast of Up! would be gone at the end of October because they would probably be bringing in the G-Force characters. As I'm sure my kids will love them just as well, I would be sad to miss Up!

I would be SO bummed if I missed the Up characters. We're going to be there the week after Halloween.

Would love to see a switchout in October.

Thus, get to see UP characters in September and then new characters in November. What about Princess and the Frog characters? Tiana??

Bolt was there when we went in April. In June, it was the characters from Up! Our understanding was that they try to change that area to coincide with whatever premiere is going on. I would be surprised if the Up characters were still there in October. We go the end of September. If no one has found that the characters have changed, we can check then and report back.

Where exactly are they located? :confused3We've been going to WDW for years and never knew of this "secret" character meeting area until we saw someone's pic of Fro-Zone on DIS.

Up! is probably one of my favorite Pixar movies.:lovestruc We are going in September for my birthday but we are only visiting the MK. We are going back in November for Tanksgiving and will probably visit DHS...any chance they will still be there in November?

Being new yet to Disney, I can tell you the building behind where you see Playhouse Disney in MGM, sorry, still call it that!! The shop sells art and stuff, go through that shop and further in the building there's a room with really neat sketches of some alternate versions of characters like Tink and Buzz and Woody, keep going and there's more areas with computer quizzes to take and they have other characters there. We saw Mr and Mrs Incredible and Frozone, Sorcerer Mickey, Little Einsteins, Handy Manny, they had a Wall e cut out... I don' t know if this is where they're having the UP guys, but I'd assume...

I believe they are in the building that is called The Magic of Disney Animation. If you can find the "exit" you can skip the other parts and the line up and go and see the various characters in the meet and greet sections. When we went in Jan/Feb, they had 3 sections for meet and greets, on the lower level was Sorcerer Mickey, and in another area there were the characters from Bolt. On an upper level there were the characters from the Incredibles. Only Sorcerer Mickey had a Photopass photographer, the others only had character handlers with them that would happily take a photo with your camera. The Incredibles came out as Mr and Mrs or Frozone but not all together. The characters for Bolt at the time were of the 3 main furry characters, Bolt, Mittens, and the hamster (sorry I forgot his name).

I hope this helps you find where there are. Of course where the Bolt characters are for my family, is the area that they seem to put their newest movie characters.

We had the pleasure of seeing the Up! characters a week ago when I was on vacation with my DD (9). There was a PhotoPass person there and the characters were phenomenal! Spent a lot of time playing with my DD and she had brought a Dug stuffed animal that they all fussed over. Dug even signed the collar of the stuffed animal! Lots of fun and great memories.
