We no longer have a barn to store our RV in, so we ALWAYS use a cover during the winter months......as much for dirt as for weather. Our RV sits on a concrete pad under numerous oak trees, which tend to drop a lot of garbage. LOL! We have a winter cover AND a summer cover for that reason.
