I love UP! and the whole love story between carl & ellie and I knew I didn't want an UP themed wedding completly but I was definatly wanting an UP inspired engagement shoot and possibly an UP engagement party, either way I was looking online and couldn't find any UP themed invites that really jumped at me so I designed my own. What do you ladies think?

Did ya spot the not so hidden mickey? :rotfl:

Thank you Singastory :goodvibes I was working on some other stuff for it like table numbers, but instead of numbers I was going to do different badges, like the grape soda badge is the sweet heart table and then first aid and so on. I love themes haha :thumbsup2

I love the up ones! Could you make that smaller details font a little darker?

I love love love your UP invitations!! They are adorable! Which font did you use for your names? It's super cute.

So this is completely off topic...but I see you are in Long Island and I LOVE the pet photos you have posted. Do you come to NJ for shoots?

Yes of course, I was actually playing around with possibly making the font bold to make it stand out more.

It's called standard cursive...lame name for a really nice font haha

Love, Love, Love the idea of a semi Up! themed wedding.....:) Have you considered trying to make purple bottle cap pins like the one that Ellie gave Carl for favors or something? you could put your initials on the inside of the cap or something...I don't know just a thought...

That'd be a cute idea. The other idea I had floating around was the engagement party guest book/photobook would be designed after "My Adventure Book" and then the Mailbox is where everyone can stick the cards and what not. Like I said before I love themes, you really gotta commit to it haha! :rotfl2:

LOL....yup!!! I totally love the idea of and "Adventure" themed guest book...you are so creative girl!

the first time we saw Up! my hubby and I cried like a baby I was diagnosed that year with end stage Heart Failure and the part where Ellie died and the part where he looked at the Adventure book and the adventure really was the two of them....I just lost it...I am doing a lot better now, and am no longer in end stage. But that movie was the perfect timing for us....life is to short not to love and live...And Disney as often as possible. We met Carl Russell and Dug that year at HS and I explained to the Photopass person why the movie meant so much to us and she directed us to another cast member who looked at our hotel key and when we returned to our room there was a balloon boquet...compliments of Disney...I was floored, and of course I started bawling....that is something I will NEVER forget.

Thank you so much....as a matter of fact we are renewing our vows in 2 years at the World....we are hoping at that point Ill be on the transplant list....yeah this whole heart failure thing came up towards the end of our engagement so we kind of hurried along and eloped in 2009 in March we ended up going along with the planned wedding in July because at that point I was to upset and stressed to call the whole thing off....the Dr had given me 2 years...and my husband said he didnt care and married me anyway...the wedding we had really was kind of a mess because I wasnt really there you know? We had our honeymoon in DisneyWorld....thats when the whole thing happened. 2009 was not a good year for me, it was happy and tragic at the same time....Furthermore the honeymoon turned into a family vacation because we ended up bringing my son on it because I didnt want my last Disney trip to NOT be with him...thats what I thought at the time....So yeah having heart disease your entire life stinks, but getting on the rides quickly cause I need a wheelchair for long distance walking....well that part is nice....lol...Ive learned, like Ellie and Carl..you gotta look for the positive...no matter what....and ALWAYS, ALWAYS follow your dreams
