What do you do with unwanted Park Tickets from your Hotel booking if you have an AP??

We have temporary APs (from CE-Multiadvantages) which we will redeem at Easter when we visit. For this trip we are staying off-site.

We hope to visit again later this year for Halloween or Christmas time and will book on-site as I want to experience the luxury of staying at Disneyland Hotel before my youngest turns 3 as we have 4 children :headache:

Anyway I hope to book DL hotel for 1 adult and 2 children under 7, and 1 infant then add on myself and eldest DD at reception. This will give us three park passes that we don't need and won't use.

Can we give those passes to friends who would be visiting the park after our visit or do they have to be used on the same dates as our stay? It would be a shame to waste them if friends can use them.

Many thanks, P

In our experience package tickets are valid from the start of your stay and for a day or two after the end of your trip only.

Hi there,

Im pretty sure you wouldnt be able to do that as they are only valid fur the dates you are there.

You can however book a room only price at the onsite hotels. Would that help?

As others have suggested, check the dates on the tickets.

We've had them with longer time scales before, and sold them on via ebay :thumbsup2

How does one book room-only thru the DLP website? We couldn't find a way no matter which country site we selected.

Ended up booking thru expedia.co.uk

You need to phone up to request a booking for room only. However it often doesnt work out any cheaper as special offers arent applicable for room only (ie % off or extra nights free etc).

Not that we have ever done this but can you not only add on extra people up to the room occupancy so 4 people ( assume your under 3 might not count).

Somebody else will be better placed to confirm this....

yes I see what you mean, 2 adults, 3 children aged over 3, and a child under 3, thats over the maximum occupancy for standard rooms at any of the onsite hotels.
pollyjo you wouldn't be able to do this, you'd have to book 2 rooms or see how much a family room at the DLH would cost you (if its available for your dates).

The family room at DLH takes 5 and our youngest doesn't count as long as we go before he is 3.

Thanks, P

We plan to use a family room at DLH. The family room takes 5 and our youngest doesn't count as long as we go before he is 3. He can sleep in a cot. I have checked with Disneyland Paris and they confirmed that it would be fine, as long as we book a family room. Our youngest is 22 months old so we have a 14 month-deadline of staying at DLH

Thanks, P
