Unvaccinated kids in Alaska

I haven't seen this question asked or answered yet, hopefully I didn't just miss it in my search.

I understand that Disney's current COVID policy is that unvaccinated children can only get off of the ship if they purchase a Port Adventure from Disney, but does anyone have an understanding of whether this will apply in Alaska? Disney doesn't explicitly say that the policy only applies in International ports-of-call, but we haven't seen an Alaska cruise season since COVID started and it would seem strange to me if my American kids would be trapped on the ship in an American state unless I book a Port Adventure from Disney.

I probably will book a Port Adventure from Disney at each stop anyways, but I'm more curious if we'll be free to wander around the towns afterwards, or if we'll be herded quickly from ship to Port Adventure to ship, with no freedom of movement in between.

My understanding is that it is no longer required to have a DCL excursion to get off the ship for unvaccinated travelers. My notes show that our unvaccinated grandchildren need a test 24 hours-3 days before embarking (in addition to the embarkation test everyone is required to get) and they have to wear masks in the kids club and Bibbidi Bobbidi Boutique. Otherwise same as everyone else.

I'm pretty sure https://disneycruise.disney.go.com/why-cruise-disney/experience-updates/ports-of-call-us/ used to include those restrictions (no longer there) and I also recall reading that they were removed.

Thank you both. We just sailed earlier in April and the policy was still in place, so this must be breaking news.
