Although September is typically a less crowded time of the year, this month's weather conditions have been anything but typical.

Because of the extraordinary amount of hurricanes which unfortunate Floridians have had to endure these past several weeks, we modified our original mid-September reservation and rescheduled for the last week of September.

Based somewhat on the rather full capacity of the WDW resorts, as well as unavailable priority seating reservations, I am wondering how many other vacationers were forced to change their itinerary to the end of September, or chose to book their trip for an entirely different month.

We just got back and kept are trip as planned, Sept. 10-18. We were so glad that we did not reschedule. Absolutely beautiful weather, no rain at all, and the best part no lines. Every ride was a walk on! We rode test track three times in a row and never got off. They just asked if we wanted to stay on. We walked in to all the restaurants with no PS and got in within 5 minutes at peak eating times. It was the best trip. Hope it is that way for you as well.

We're heading down in a few days... we'll let you know about the crowds when we get home!

I was there between Sep15- Sep 19. During the week the parks were empty. You were able to go on any and all rides with no more than a 5 minute wait at the more popular rides. My 2 sons are huge fans of the Buzz Lightyear ride and we were able to ride 3 times in a row on Wednesday morning. Late friday as welll as all day Saturday you can see the parks starting to get crowded again. I am not sure if it is a weekend thing or what. On Saturday we needed a fast pass to ride Buzz. The weather was terrific. The only rain was the typical Florida 15 min rain late in the afternoon and that was only one day. This is the best time of year to go.

Was at Disney Sept 12-18, parks empty, buses empty, no lines. I am so glad I did not cancel or reschedule.

I just got back after a trip Sept. 8th through the 19th. I agree, this is a great time to go. There were no crowds until Fri and Sat. (18, and 19). Went to Night of Joy on the 9th and found it to be absolutely wonderful!

We went down on Friday the 17th, and came back on the 19th. Went to the Magic Kingdom on the 18th. In the first hour and ten minutes, we did Snow White, Pooh, Philharmagic, Peter Pan, Haunted Mansion, Splash Mountain twice. I think the longest line we stood in all day was about 15 minutes for Grand Prix Raceway. I never said anything to my wife about the lack of the crowd, because I didn't want to jinx it.

Loved staying at the Poly.

No change in plans! We always go at this time and had BETTER weather than any other year.

NO waits for anything. "Empty Tea Cups"

same here, it was amazing how empty the rides were, the longest wait we had was for the poo ride... which was 20 minutes. The only badly crowded day was the MK on Tuesday (which is the night they have the night parade) but even then the lines were mainly for things like pan, snow white, and pooh. Rides like splash mountain and space mountain were basically walk on (with most of the time spent walking to the ride itself though the empty line area).

We just returned from WDW also .we were there from 9/10-9/14....it was fabulous. I totally feel for all the floridians that have had to deal with so much in terms of weather over the past 2 months but I have to say that this was the best trip yet in terms of crowds! We didn't wait in line for a singe thing. BTMRR was empty at MK and we stayed on for 3 rides in a row. They just said if there is no one waiting in your row to board and you wish to ride again, stay seated. IT was great! Even our resort and all the bus transportation was empty.

I'm already saving and planning for next year's trip. Yep...same time as this one....hurricane season and all....

we just got back from the 22 to the 30th- long lines!! LOL everyone must have went this week. Peterpan was a 45 minue wait!!!

Thunder Mountain 30 minutes!!

okay everyone must have cancelled and rebooked for that week!!

Hmm, we were there roughly the same time (Sept 26th - Oct 1st). We did not experience hardly any lines at all. Peter Pan was about the worst at 15 minutes. Waited for one Dumbo group b4 we went on. Everything else in Fantasyland was empty. Toontown was empty, no one but us on Barnstormer, Tomorrowland, pretty empty (did not do the race caars, that looked crowded but the CM said 20 mins but we were not willing to wait!). We walked right on Buzz, there was never a FP machine open. Walked on PotC, HM, Jungle Cruise. Used FP for BTMRR & walked right on. Splash was closed due to tech difficulties. Tues eve was super crowded for Spectro but we showed up at 7:45pm for 8pm Wishes on Thues & got a perfect Main St viewing spot near Casey's & Plaza Ice Cream.
EPCOT was super empty!
MGM was super empty too!
We were able to get last minute PS's (Chef Mickey & 50's Prime Time Cafe).
It was super hot, but I would always go back in Sept!!!

We just got back today (9/25-10/03) and found the crowds VERY light... most stuff was 5 minute waits or less. Crowds at Epcot and MGM were light too... We also made it over to Seaworld and found the same. We went on Journey to Atlantis and Kraken without a wait... in fact... I had the boat all to myself on Journey to Atlantis...
