unused tickets

My in-laws may have an unused day on each of their tickets.

Here is the scenario:
They had 3 days left on hoppers from a prior trip. These don't expire.

We were planning on touring for 5 days. So they bought a 2 day hopper from Fairy Tale Weddings due to attending our Vow Renewal. Yes, FTW sells 2 day hoppers to any guests of a FTW. These do expire.

We ended up not touring one day due to an illness in our touring party.

So...my father in law doesn't recall if he used the FTW passes first (as we instructed).
Thus, we do not know if he has a day left on his hoppers that don't expire.

I know...I'm talking in circles.

My big question is:
How do we find out if he has any days left? Can we do this at a local Disney store?
We want to buy advance tickets before our December trip and would rather not wait until we are in Disney to find out if they have any days left.

Thanks for hanging with me through this LONG question.

Kim

I remember discussions like this before and I'm pretty sure they can only do it at the parks. Anyone have any other info?

jgates is correct, Nicsmom. Unfortunately you can only find this out at Guest Services at the WDW parks and resorts. :(

u can find out by calling... i did for my dh who had a leftover ticket, at least last spring you
could still call and find out... we had park hoppers and they cd tell us exactly where he'd
been and what he had left to use. don't know the number i called, probably just the main
number or guest services/ticketing. GL!

this is th e-mail I just got today regarding this subject

Dear Guest,

We appreciate your recent ticket inquiry. Unfortunately, information regarding old or unused ticket media cannot be given out over the phone or via e-mail due to the large variety of old ticket media. In general if the ticket media is unused and does not have an expiration date, you may be able use or exchange the old tickets by visiting one of our Vacation Planners at the entrance to the Magic Kingdom, Epcot, Disney's Animal Kingdom or the Disney-MGM Studios. If you have questions regarding the days left on your ticket media please visit a Guest Relations location.

Thank you!
