2. What was your best friend's name? Diane

3. What kind of children's stories did you read? I liked the "Little House" books. My favorite was a collection from Better Homes and Gardens. I still have that too.

4. What was your favorite (childhood) movie? Mary Poppins, Cinderella and the Wizard of Oz.

5. What memorabilia do you have from your childhood?

A doll my parents brought back from Europe when I was 5, and I even have my "Mary Poppins" album. A 33 if you remember? When my DD was a toddler and first saw it, she said "Mama that CD is humongeous." I also have an ornament I made with my Grandma, and a dress my mother made for me when I was a baby. I probably have a lot more. I'm pretty sentimental about stuff.

Nooo, it's easy! Go to photobucket and type in whatever the word/name is, like "Nancy Drew" and see what comes up. Pick the photo/image that most appeals to your/your funny bone, and post it! Sometimes some real nutty stuff comes up! And some real... WHOAAAAA, people are CRAZY! stuff comes up.

I don't know. I got the same result when I clicked on the thumbnail Address you copied. But when I went to Amazon and copied it myself (in a larger size by clicking on that item and then clicking on it on the page) it works! Weird.

Click on QUOTE and then copy the whole IMG line, then paste it into your own post.

I'd love to do the VIP tour, but it's too close to when we come in, need to get lunch, get groceries, get DS3 down for nap... So I figured I'd better pass.

Alex, do you HAVE to go out and get groceries? why dont you just order them online through safeway or albertsons? you can go online at home right before you leave and they have everything that you can get in the grocery store

UGH. I always have to cover my eyes on Survivor and Fear Factor when they eat gross stuff. The furry boiled tarantulas? The balut? The goopy grubs with green insides?

Tinkermell, if you look at this (you can QUOTE it) and look at the code, you'll see the bracket-IMG-bracket occurs twice, and so does the ending bracket-slash-IMG-bracket. You can delete one set and they won't appear in the final post.

I've never ordered groceries online, though I did look into it when it looked like we weren't going to have a car on our first trip. DH just didn't want to bother, plus we were put off when they said the delivery period was within a 4 hour period, and you had to be there in person for the delivery. So we'd have to sit around potentially for 4 hours??? NOT!!!

Granted, DS3 and DH usually nap, but DS7 and I usually take off to do something; if we ordered groceries we'd have to stick around. It's just quicker to get them ourselves.

OMG, the Wizard of Oz??? I HATED that movie! The witch looked soooooo... real! Even without make-up, that actress scared me to death! But really it was those flying monkeys, I can't even tell you how many nightmares I had about them.

Oh, and I couldn't watch Bambi for years, I hated it, too. Because his mommy died, and it was tooo sad to imagine.

I've watched it again (several times) with the kids since we've been going to DL, and now I appreciate the sweetness and the beautiful music and how it ties in so perfectly with the scenes. And my boys don't seem to be affected at all by Bambi's mother dying. I guess that's a good thing... heartless little *******
