Those of you old enough to remember "I Dream of Jeannie". Remember how they were from Cocoa Beach? I always thought that was a ficticious name, well it's not. It's actually located a little south of the Kennedy Space Center in Florida. AND.....they have a street named "I Dream of Jeannie Lane"!:lmao:

Anyway, feeling pretty good today and I'm probably going to try going to work for a few hours tomorrow. DH has a few things he needs to do in town, so I'm going to have him drop me off at work so I can get caught up on some of the accounting reports and things.
:sad2:

I remember it from syndication, I think :rolleyes1 . Other then that you could probably post whatever you want about it and I would just have to senslessly agree :thumbsup2 :rotfl2:

Pretty much just work...everything seems to revolve around it right now. Good news is DH got a really good score from the corporate auditor, so he is happy - hopefully he will stay that way for a bit :goodvibes

That's awesome. So happy that things are working out there for you guys. :thumbsup2 Still liking the area, schools and everything?

OMG! I'm sitting here watching Ellen and it kills my stomach to laugh. I'm so used to watching funny shows and now it just kills me.:lmao:

You really suck at the "taking it easy" stuff, that's WHAT! :lmao: :rotfl2:

Ok, there has to be one of the CSI's on reruns...but you would probably find something amusing about that show too...the more I think about it we would probably have to lock you in a bubble to even have a chance at taking away sense of humor :rotfl2:

We do still love the area and the schools, it is absolutely beautiful up here, I have never appreciated spring (heck, I have never seen spring), so it is just amazing. Over Spring Break we walked to the lake (about a 15 minute walk), so I know we will be spending a lot of time walking in our back yard! The key will just be to get one good management person - then life would be nearly perfect :cloud9:

I read that as "... got a really good score from the caterpillar auditor..." What?! :rotfl2:

The eyes are one of the first things to go, I guess. :rotfl:

I thought you got one (or was it two?) new management types? Or do you mean another one? Here's hoping! :thumbsup2

Yeah, I know. But what's the diff. if I go to work and be on the computer or stay at home and surf on the computer? Not a whole lot!! DH need to get a couple of new tires at Les Schwab, take my alternator core back to Schuck's, and a few other things. So I figure he can just drop me off for a couple of hours. It will make my life so much easier than arriving on Monday morning to a piled high desk! Mostly I want to open the mail and get the daily accounting reports input. Nothing too strenuous.:)

Only problem with CSI is I think I've seen every attitude. The last couple of days I've been watching Anthony Bourdain and traveling around the world from the recliner.

The told me my restrictions are nothing over 10 pounds, no jogging or serious exercise, but....I am allowed to walk as much as I want, up to the point of sweating. So I think I can handle a couple of hours at my desk.:thumbsup2

Do you solemnly swear you are telling the truth, the whole truth, and nothing but the truth when you say you will be there for just two hours? :snooty:

Nope, it's the girls!:rotfl2: Gravity takes its toll first. By the way, I need a cool new name for my new girl. Something fun, flirty, sexy....a take charge kind of name that puts a smile on your face. Any ideas?? I've been racking my brain, but so far nothing.:confused3

Have I mentioned how perky she is?? Not that the other one was very saggy or anything, but obviously I'm in my 40's & things go south! They put this one in the same position, but it's really firm!:rotfl:

BTW....Bernice sent me some smilie face stickers and I wore one to my doctor appt. today! They got a kick out of it. However, they said in 3-6 months they could give me an even better looking one!:rotfl:

Yep, because DH will be driving me in. If I were driving myself I would probably stretch it to 6 hours.;)

I just saw a hilarious Macy's commercial! You know, the ones they're running with all the celebrities in them? This one has a gorgeous guy (???) walking through the store, and all the celebrity women eyeing him. Martha Stewart checked out his butt, Mariah Carey said, "Ohhhhhh, myyyyyy", etc. And then Donald Trump, seeing all the women collected to watch the gorgeous guy choose a suit, says, "Shallow. Soooo shallow." :rotfl2:

SHE IS LYING!!! (and I have higlighted the evidence) :rolleyes1

Ok, here is the deal...in list of competence you have

Dh
Me
New girl we hired who I have been training - she can work 2 closes and anything Sat/Sun

A 19 yo shift manager who has been there almost a year, has no responsibilities, etc.
Possibly the 5 MONTH training guy who got all butt-hurt today :sad2:

You SHOULD have 5 managers in a restaurant of our volume, if not more going into the summer months (we are a destination, and our population more then doubles)
