Where the heck is the Village Haus restaurant??? Is that what's next to... Pinocchio? There's something there, but we've never been in to see what. :confused3

yes maam

Oh wait. Or is that the Enchanted Cottage??? That's supposed to be in Fantasyland somewhere, too! :confused3

enchanted cottage is at the fantasyland outdoor theater where they do Princess Fantasy faire

Lynn!

How ya feeling today? Did you get some rest? Sounds like it was a long night!

yes I did thank you...I slept so good and all night lol

Attention Ladies and Gentlemen,
Crazy has left the state!

:cool1:  :woohoo: :woohoo: :yay: :jumping1: :Pinkbounc :cheer2: party: :jumping3: :jumping2: :bounce:
Are you sure she's gone this time???

I do hope she's gone, and I do hope you and your BF have a good talk and get some things resolved.

Stress does come out in strange ways, and everybody deals with it very differently. I tend to cry a lot and get gastrointestinal problems. One time when I broke up with a college boyfriend I actually was physically ill from it, that had never happened to me before.

I bet it feels good to laugh again! :thumbsup2

Who the heck is Prince Caspian??? He has a pre-parade in the schedule! :lmao: :lmao: :lmao:

(Is this related to the Narnia series?)

exactly...the first pre parade is that friday we are there:cool1: i cant wait till the movie comes out im so excited...btw...I saw Enchanted the other day...cute movie...I totally didnt think tiff would like it but she watched it with Lexie and she was laughing quite a bit:cloud9:

Then ya better get crackin!!! J/k :) Are you guys all going to be there on the 25th? What is everyone doing that day?

I'm coming in on Friday night.

As far as I know, all the hyenas will be there by the 25th, with Shawna showing up late that evening; she said she'd be there just in time for Fantasmic. Of course, that's assuming she doesn't need to attend the Hair and Makeup class at Morgan's studio...

Some people I think are doing the Ladies Only group events, though I'm not sure. I forget what time we get in that day, but we'll definitely need to eat first and make a grocery store run for snacks and water, etc.

And the hyena breakfast is the following morning. DH and I still haven't talked about what to do that day (since we can't get into the park with our APs.) I had planned to take a day to go to the beach, and that would be a good day perhaps. But the boys would also love an afternoon spent at the hotel pool, so who knows? I would love to just meander through DTD, but we don't usually shop first thing, you know? We like to wait and see what new things there are and shop toward the end of our stay.

Who knows? I half expect DH to say let's pay the extra to get in the park. Though I see it's expected to be very busy, with a park closing of midnight, so if it's going to be that busy, he won't want to fight the crowds. We just need to take some time to talk about it!

I think a bunch of us are getting together to watch the Electrical Parade on Saturday night.

mornin mornin mornin:goodvibes

Good Morning!

Sorry about my sudden disappearance. DS3 appeared at my side with a large bandaid he'd already ripped the tabs off of, wanting me to put it on his thumb which had a loose, dry piece of skin hanging on it near the nail.

So I put it on, and then DS7 tattled, "DS3 stole a sucker!" I asked where the sucker was (because he didnt' have it at the moment) and he said it was "in a chair" in my room! :scared1:

Sure enough, his hands and face were all sticky, so we went charging upstairs, whereupon I found:

1 sticky sucker, not on the chair but on the carpet next to the chair, and
Bandaids and empty bandaid tabs all over the bathroom floor

That's what I get for not keeping a close eye when he gets quiet... :headache:

So I figured it was time to feed them. DS7 wanted toasted cheese sandwiches and a boiled egg (I boiled a batch of eggs yesterday since the Easter ones disappeared so quickly), and fed them and myself. Now DS3 is in bed and DS7 is reading.

He's supposed to read for 15 minutes every night. This is a minimum set by the school district, and I understand from another mom that the time increases as the kids get older. And I've probably approached it the wrong way, because when he protests, I tell him it's part of his homework, and he MUST read for at least 15 mins. So he'll read a few pages, then stop to find me in the house and ask, "How much time has it been now?" :sad2:

On the plus side, we went to the bookstore yesterday, and he got so excited about getting new books! He bought 4 Hardy Boys with his gift card, and we ordered 4 YuGiOh books that he'll purchase with a 2nd gift card that's somewhere around here. He actually begged to go back to the store today because he wanted to get 2 more Hardy Boys, but I said, "Let's wait and get them when we pick up the YuGiOh books." It's nice to see him so excited to read!

Hello! Back from picking Jake up. Didnt find the other big lamp but I found a smaller decorative lamp for my sideboard. So cute. i just love Kirklands.

How are we all around here.

Oh and I posted my news on the dance mom thread and they gave me some good tips about dh taking pictures at the meeting and maybe even videotaping although that might be a bit much! :lmao:

Who the heck is Prince Caspian??? He has a pre-parade in the schedule! :lmao: :lmao: :lmao:

(Is this related to the Narnia series?)

Yes, Prince Caspian is the 4th book in the Chronicles of Narnia. I read most of it but didn't finish. I should finish reading it. I read the 1st 2 books in that series.

I just got the info on my friend's wife, who passed away a week ago. There will be a memorial this weekend. Their kids are only 3yo and 5yo. My heart just breaks for them.

I'd like to go to the memorial, but I just realized I don't even have anything decent to wear! I just have mom "mom uniform" of jeans and knit tops...
It's time you went shopping, or I'm going to report you to "What Not to Wear!":rotfl:

Howdy Everyone!

I don't have much time, but just wanted to drop by!

I wonder if the makeup technique is the same that Becky had to learn. Theatrical eyes??? If that's it, then I can show you. At least I think I can............it has been a few years. You draw eyeliner strraight across the upper lid and bottom. You don't follow the eye curve. Are you getting my drift? It looks weird up close, but from the audience's view, the eyes really pop.

OH lordy, am I a candidate for that show! :lmao:

But honestly, the idea of shopping for clothing (and trying on clothing!) with DS3 just sounds like TOO MUCH! And I don't mean TOO MUCH FUN, dang it! :rotfl:

Yeah, I know about the Narnia book, I just knew he wasn't part of the last movie. And didn't realize Disney was involved in that movie. I forgot that I've seen trailers for a new movie, so that makes sense now. And GEE, guess what the new movie is called? Prince Caspian! :rotfl:

My sister just devoured those books, and has read them many times. I remember when she first read them, she begged me to read them, she was sure I'd love them too.

So I began to read "A Horse and his Boy" and just thought it was weird, I couldn't get into it. I never finished it, and she's been mad at me ever since.

I dont know I'll ask. Yeah I can see how that would look cool! I think that is how ballet etudes does their eyes. We had a whole different technique at the other studio and each studio I see has a different look. Our old was follow the eys but do it heavy then 3 different shades of brown eyeshadow to make the eyeliner look. I think eyeliner would have been easier and you could use whatever color shadow you wanted. Oh well another reason we left there.

I know the hair is half up, half down right part:scared: over the right eyeball, 2 inch section slickly brought low and back to the pony tail in the back that matches the hair color. I'm used to a low bun parted on the left for everything which made it easy but we only do buns for the 2 ballet dances. She likes the girls hair to flow on stage. I saw quite a few of these styles at that last competition we watched and it did look cool during a jazz number. :thumbsup2

I hate doing right parts. my whole being tells me to do left. :lmao:
