Untitled DL chat thread. Everyone is welcome! Part 6

It was down to Jordin (I think that's how she spells it?) and a guy, and all the reviews I've read seem to think she was going to win. (Obviously I haven't watched the show this season.)

I did watch the final show of ANTM, though. That was interesting.

And Monday I caught a few minutes of the Bachelor (which I find hideous), and then a few minutes of the After the Rose (follow-up) show. Monday night the guy had a final date with each of the two remaining girls. On the first date with a girl named Bevin, they seemed very comfortable together, and she told him that she loved him, and he also told her that he loved her. I thought, "Well, that's that." He said as he began the final date with the 2nd girl that he felt he hadn't really gotten to know the real her, that she was really gonna have to pull out all the stops to change his mind, blah blah blah. They went horseback riding on a beautiful Hawaiian beach, had a picnic, kissed at sunset. She told him how much she admired him and respected him, and opened up a bit about herself. But they genuinely didn't seem that comfortable together.

So on Tuesday night imagine my shock when I see the 2nd girl on the couch with him! This is the girl he proposed to! He said the final date was wonderful, he really felt he got to know her, and he knew he'd met the love of his life. WHAAAAA? I don't know if this is true or not, DH says they're already married.

Yeah I hate the bachelor I think it's a horrible show but I also watched part of the final rose aftershow or whatever it was called and that bevin was all crying because she still loved him. How the heck can these people fall in love like that. I don't get it.

Are the disboards really slow tonight, or is it just my computer? It's taken me about 10 minutes to post and now I've forgotten what I was going to say!

no it was slow for a second there...I think it's better now though.

How did he get out of the cart? Was it the ones that are shaped like a car? I could see him getting out of those but the metal ones would be much trickier since the seat is higher.

I think he just acted in his defense. I think because it was a stranger that grabbed him. I feel bad that your DH had to chase him with his bad knee and all. Geeze!

If he sees one of those car carts he HAS to have it! I used to think they were cool, but now I think it's a PITA. This morning we went grocery shopping and they had 2 kinds of car carts: One has a car on the front low to the ground, the other the whole cart looks like a car, and the 'driver' sits in the back as usual, but faces forward. (Those are harder for him to get out of, but as we found out this morning, he climbs like a monkey into the cart part or onto the back (and wants to hang onto me as I push.)

The grocery store they ran to tonight for eggs has only the low-car ones, and I'm sure that's what he did. He just doesn't stay in those, so I don't like them now.

Do you guys ever watch the Dan Ho Show on the Discovery Channel? I'm watching that right now. He's kind of like a Martha Stewart that tries to simplify your life instead of making it fancy and complicated.

Your baby sounds like a little hellion! I feel bad for the animals at woodland park when our 2 babies get together! We are gonna tear that place down!

Not only that, but how can anybody take you seriously when you tell one girl you love her, then change your mind so quickly and choose the other one???

I was hoping to hear Bevin's account of the whole thing, but they didn't show her in the few minutes I watched. DH said she was a B, so he was glad she didn't 'win'.
(I guess DH has been watching this show? )
