And he couldn't get up in the morning.

Our rain finally stopped - at least for now. It never really was rain - just a light mist that was non-stop since last night. Just a bit colder and then we get snow!!!

Sorry I took off! I had to rush out to Walmart real quick. It's one of my co-worker's birthdays tomorrow so I rushed out and got her a nice throw blanket. It's a plaid print and looks really nice I also got a birthday card for everyone to sign.

I hope she likes it. I got a scarf from American Eagle yesterday. When you buy one they donate $10 to a charity to help underpriviledged kids. My co-workers and even my dad wants one now! lol! All morning they said: "OMG, where did you get that scarf? It's so cute!"

It's still coming down good here. DBF just called me and said our road is flooded! We live down a dirt road. Hope I don't get stuck on the way home!

Ugh... we are supposed to get snow tomorrow. The weather guy is guessing about 4 inches. Woohoo.

Dh STILL isnt home from work yet, and I am getting pissed. he said he would be home by 10, 11 at the latest. I dont care that he stays late..(he went to a friends house after work) I care that he doesnt think to call... He is supposed to be heading to bed about now. Okay.. just called and he is on his way home. Im a little cranky from getting up so early...

Hi Guys!! Well the cleaning lady flooded my mud room yesterday! She was running mop water in the sink, couldn't find my vacuum (which I had in the garage), went down to her house to grab her vacuum and forgot about the water!! OMG, sounds just like something I would do. But the good thing is since it flooded the entire room she had to pull out the washer & dryer and clean under them and the bottom shelf of the pantry also!

Yesterday I get an email from a lady in my town that has breast cancer. She seen me posting on the Komen message board and got ahold of me. Come to find out we know each other. She owns the local auto parts store, my SIL went to high school with her, she knew my parents from her store, and I used to date her brother! Yet she managed to find me on the World Wide Web! I just love small towns!!

Also got a nice surprise from Susan G. Komen Race for the Cure again! The Portland chapter also sent me a thank you - a $100 Safeway gift card and two $50 Macy's cards. I adopted a local family for Christmas through the school, so the timing couldn't be better. In addition to their presents and dinner I will give the mom the Safeway gift card and the 2 teenage girls the Macy's cards. They also have a 12yo boy, so I'll have to get him a different gift card. Maybe I just always look for the silver lining, but I've always said there is a reason I got cancer. I'm really starting to think that I've gotten more from cancer than it has taken from me.

Rain?? wow... haven't heard or even felt a drop of rain since we left MN.. until today! Holy buckets people it's raining!

Woke up early since hubby was in shower but forgot to turn off alarm.
I incorporated sound of alarm into my dream, but the sound would not stop and my sleepy brain finally realized it wasn't a dream. Stumble my way to turn off the beastly thing and hear water... ok that's more of a water sound then comes from the shower when the door is shut.. hmmmmmmmmmm
Poke my head out our bedroom window, water sheeting off the roof and pooling next to our AC.

First panic thought, something is leaking upstairs. My fuzzy brain kicked into gear.. could it be rain?? ohhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh yeah... check out on the patio-- yep it's wet, poke my head out the front door.. ohhhhhhh rain.

Offered umbrella to 14 yo, he scoffed me.. not cool mom. sigh fine, be wet and bedraggled all day then. He has an open campus with very littel shleter between buildings. I know he has class in one of the relocatables, nice hike in good weather. Fun Fun times for him today.. it's still raining!

Not completely impossible - found out this weekend that my nephew's wife was able to manage just fine!!!

Hey guys! I'm on for a bit before we run off to rehearsals. I took morgan out of school early today since we have to be at the auditorium 30 minutes BEFORE her school lets out. YEAH 1 more day and I'm DONE WITH THIS PLACE!!!

Its a cool 71 and drizzling here. Just enough to dirty your car nothing more but in the desert we take what we can get.
