I think the lead singer is kinda cute. I like their music. I just bought Ashley Tisdale's CD. Some of her songs are not bad.

I had a horrible headache today at work. I still have it and I should take something before I sleep later. I dropped a Thai Tea Boba to my bf awhile ago and he kissed me on the forehead, then felt it with his hand and he said I may have a small fever.

DH was exhausted tonight. He knew this was going to be a very busy, very stressful week, and it has been. Today was the worst, and tomorrow will be bad, too, but he should be able to have Friday off. Thank goodness for that.

Then he took DS7 to soccer practice and beaned DS and another kid with the ball, then a third (the obnoxious teenage brother of one of the teammates) in the crotch and made him drop to the ground. And he rolled both ankles! Criminy Christmas, what else could go wrong?

(Though the ball to the crotch did make the teenager's mother (our friend) laugh her head off.

I'm so mad...I have to go back to the dentist this Friday and it's going to cost me over $500 just for a friggen crown for a root canal I had done! Do crowns really cost that much?? They said this is AFTER insurance

So I did go to Ben Franklin today. I was in the framing department, looking through some mats. DS3 was talking loudly and grabbing at the frames, so I just kept talking to him quietly and trying to keep him from damaging anything.

One of the clerks says something like, "Oh, honey, are you helping Grandma pick out some mats?" and she smiles at me.

I smile back and say, "I'm his mother, actually." She looks about my age, so I'm guessing she's got older kids...

She says, "Oh, I thought I heard him call you 'Grandma'." I didn't say anything further; it's possible, I suppose 'Mama' sounds like 'Grandma'.

Then a co-worker comes up to her and commiserates with her on her faux pas. "It's so hard to tell sometimes. The worst is when you ask someone when they're due and they say they aren't pregnant! I've learned not to say anything anymore."

I'm standing there thumbing through the mats thinking, "I am still right here, folks!" Good call on not saying anything at all, I say. If you don't know, don't assume. Shut up! GEESH!
