Cruises always sounds fun... weeeeeeee!

It is fun! I'm going on a cruise in 2 weeks to Cabo San Lucas! Woot!

Hey Melody! I hope u have fun on your cruise! : I have been on 2 cruises to Mexico. The first one was Royal Caribbean. They had us wear semi-formal for dinner. Breakfast and lunch was casual. You don't have to wear anything too fancy, just a nice party dress or a dress shirt and tie. I don't think it would be a problem if the guys don't have a suit jacket. I suggest checking their website or calling them to verify (just in case).

I would check for you but I'm using my phone to DIS right now. Our internet is down at work due to Verizon

Thanks for your info! My DIL should give us some more info today after she visits AAA. I think it is easier for women to dress up than men. Women can always get a pretty fancy dress, and not have to spend too much. But for men to buy a suit, just for this is rather ridiculous. Especially, if they don't wear again for years. I know they rent tuxs on the cruise for $95.00. That would still be better than buying one.!!!

Not much - trying to pay some bills before I drop DS off and go to work. The sell of our house should be final the 15th - so then we can all relax!!!

Have fun on the cruise - I love cruises - they are the best things ever!!! Just be sure not to pack tight fitting clothes - the non stop food options usually do me in . I am kind of jumping in here without really knowing too much - but I know DH has always been super paranoid about the super dress up dinner - he always wears slacks and sometimes even a polo. I have seen people in shorts show up (although I know that is highly frowned upon). He is usually nervous going in - but is never the worst dressed.

I agree, it doesn't seem worth it to buy or rent a jacket. I suggest calling Royal Caribbean and asking them. They should have a toll free # on their site. They usually answer the phones right away so it shouldn't take long :goodjob:

Cheesecake anyone?

Maybe carrot cake is more to your liking?

A sampler with some fruit maybe?

Mmm, chocolate cake! BTW, this can be found at a restaurant in Fullerton called The Cellar which isn't that far from DL.

I just gained 5lbs from just looking at those dessert pics! lol! If it were real Alison would make us run 10 miles for each dessert! hahaha

No fair , posting food when all I have left in the fridge is leftover Mac and Cheese- blehhhhhhhhhh.

I know I know.. I have been gone for like ummm forever.. but I do pop in and check on all of ya.

Today I'm planning to wash up the linens and towels that have been piling up in the corner of my bedroom. Looks like 6 loads at least this time it doesn't have any of hubby's clothes in it.

I did his on Saturday..










took the clothes out of wash











and found














his Ipod shuffle















all nicely laundered
















Let it dry out a few days, plugged it in today.

Impressive!! It works!!!

The internet is still down at work. It's causing a lot of headaches for my co-workers because most of them use Skype to talk to overseas customers and also to access customer orders and such.

Bernice did u go to DL yesterday? I'm glad your DH's iPod still works. I would have a heart attack if that happend to me.

I'm eating a turkey panini I got at the mall food court. It's so quiet there since everyone is working or in school. I didn't shop there though. They have tons of stores and no GAP. I thought GAP was supposed to be on every corner!

I know! I did see it, I mentioned it to DH ("Hey, looks like several hyenas are going on a girls only trip") but I just don't see how I could go. He'd be totally great with me going, but with the boys' school schedules and extracurricular activities, there's no way DH could work and take care of the boys.
