My bf drove today and he was teasing me because he was playing rock music and then he looks at me and says: "See? There is better music like this outside of your world!" He said that because yesterday I drove and was listening to HSM and HSM2. :rolleyes1

Yeah, right!!! I had to make sure dh really got his butt out of bed, and tried to lay Mikalah down, but she had a fit... then I got dh dinner, now I am going to try to lay Mikalah back down. Excuse me for minute while I go get the duct tape...

if you have an extra stun gun around please send it my way!

pixster, you never shop at Pottery Barn?

I wish I could afford the furniture at Pottery Barn kids for my two. Its awesome!

Nope. I know their stuff lasts long though. I think I bought 1 bath towel on clearance once. It was less than $10 and has lasted a long time. It hasn't become ratty from washing it many times or anything. I know their products are very well made.

I've seen their kids stuff. They send me catalogs for both Pottery Barn and Pottery Barn kids. Some of the stuff they have is adorable. :cutie:

Boy you guys are on a roll tonight!!! :lmao:

Chesticles! Now that has been awhile since that has come up! :rotfl:

Pix, we have Pockys in our cupboard! Yum!!!

I like Ali's ideal on exercise in between posting. Putting it to practice is another story.

Shawna, Use bribery! Hannah Montanna, or Santa ..does she still believe in Santa? My oldest DD use to have the same problem. She would lay in her bed at night, and talk and sing and try to read, even though it was dark. Eventually, she grew out of that mode. But at least she did stay in bed.
Have you gone through the foods she is eating at night or in the late afternoon? If I have coffee after 4:00, it's a lousy night for me. Actually, I have lots of lousy nights due to something called premenopause. Last night was one of them. :sad2: How did I get from Morgan to me? :rotfl: Anyways, persevere Mom!

Grumpy, LOL!!!!!!!!!!!!!!:lmao: :lmao: :lmao:

Megan, cushin and pushin?? :lmao: :lmao: :lmao:

:rotfl2: I find myself listening to that stuff when I'm alone in the car. I'll be singing Hannah, Cheetah Girls or Aly and AJ! :lmao:

Hey Melody!

This has gone on about 8 months actually. She just wont go to sleep at all no mattter what time I lay her down. She keeps getting out. Then I let her play with her little princesses on her nightstand but it keeps her up for hours doing that even in the dark. some nights I'll think she is asleep and she will wander in my room at midnight saying she never could go to sleep. Its so frustrating at times.

I've threatened taking away dance and santas watching everything. Nothing seems to work. IF she does go to bed early once every 2 months she sleepwalks which she always used to do if she was overly tired.

Hum???????????? Has she ever had a bad nightmare? Is she maybe afraid to go to sleep??

How about a little flashlight and a book? Does she like to read? How about a book and a listening CD story? How about a visit to the doctor? How late does she dance? Could that be stimulating, "whatever that homone is called" ? Why can't I think of that name? Adorfins?? Is that what I'm thinking?

Morgan has a no sugar rule after 4pm now. So she gets out of school at 3:50 and immediately asks for a piece of candy because she knows she cannot have any after that! :rotfl2:

Alison.........where are you?? I need your assistance now!!! :rolleyes1

See I've been wondering if she was overly tired from dance since I cannot sleep when I am overly tired but she did not have this schedule last year she only danced 1 night for 2 hours. :confused3 It started last spring. She has always had sleeping issues. When she was younger 2-3 1/2 maybe she had night terrors. Man those scared me. About an hour after bedtime each night she would start freaking out and we could not wake her up. Now she sleep walks if she is too tired. I talked to the DR about it and she said both of these are hereditary and Dh went through all of them. He still sleepwalks if he is too tired. Ooooh its fun to mess with him then! :lmao:

Then some nights she tells us she wants to win the award for being the last one asleep! I say how about the first one asleep and she said Unh, there is not a real award for that!

lol like there is for being the last one. :confused3 :rotfl:
