Unfortunately, she hates Micky as well.. I really though that she would like them this time. But no... Disneyland is just not her cup of tea! But the rest of us like it, so she will just have to suffer!

Someone come and deal with my insane cat. She's pawing at the walls and closet mirrors.. scrape, scrape scrape, scrape.. arggghhhh very annoying.

I thought she had left the park in the morning. She called me while I was shopping at Nordstrom.

I feel so much better today... It wasn't as stinky today. It was hazy white like fog in the evening and I had my patio door open most of the day.

Last night hubby had opened the door for a few minutes before we went ot bed.. and after 5 minutes I got struck by a horrible headache and feeling nauseus. Quickly closed up the door again and ran the air for awhile and it went away.

Hubby said there was ash (snowlike) falling during the day yesterday on that end of town. Not at home.. just stinky and weird glow to the sky.

That's not good. The mucky sky and ashes in my city all went away. It was coming from the Malibu fire and the Santa Rosa fire. I'm glad I can go out and breathe normal air again. It looked like a scene from a horror movie and the ash smell gave me a headache too.

my sister said it has been pretty bad at her house. The kids have been out of school, and the hosp. her dh was in lost power. The ash is just coming down like crazy... she said it is quarter size chunks falling.

I went to Target tonight and got tortilla chips for 50 cents a bag (thanks to Super Target coupons), a Polly Pocket to give to Toys for Tots (freebie with printable coupon), and a pink silicone oven mitt (75% off). All the good clearance was gone for the kitchen stuff, should have gone to the Super Target instead.

We lost power for about 15 minutes this morning. It was funny, several of us creeped outside in our PJs and robes to see if all the electric was off. Neighbors across from us had a good laugh ... the first thought both of them had was " I KNOW I paid the electric bill!"

They cancelled after school activities here and had lunch/ PE inside.

I went to Safeway, they were having a big ole meat sale. Ground beef, roasts, and chicken was all 50% off. I totally stocked up. And I got some steaks that were on clearance for 50% off. Now I have a freezer full of meat.

Dh is leaving, and he actually remembered to take his coveralls... Hopefully he wont freeze his butt of tonite!

I need to go to Target tomorrow. Thanks for reminding me! I bought a blue silicone oven mitt from Macy's a few months ago. It was less than $10 on sale and it works great! All of my regular oven mitts would either still burn my head a little or they would wear out and have holes rather quickly.


I bought a Marc Jacobs purse. The sales lady tried to get me to buy a Juicy bag but I didn't like any of the ones they had.

I have done that too!! Whenever our power goes out, i always check outside to make sure its not just us!
