:lmao: Actually... I feel kind of blah. I was up at 6:30 busting my hump getting stuff done though!:lmao: The car is packed, all we need to do is load up the stroller, and food.

SWEET!

I hear ya though, it's the after effects of aniticipation for so many days.. the days comes and you kinda walk in a fog like "is this real" "am I really here?"

Then walk under the berm.. ahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh and the smiles pop out.
All is right with the world again, you're back "home" on Main Street :goodvibes

Or at least that's how I feel everytime we go.

I skip thru the sidewalks and thru bag check and then I just wanna RUN to get in line for gates....... then I stop and see hubby meandering his way thru the crowd waaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaay behind me

C'MON!!!!!!

Bounce bounce Bounce-------- arrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrgh

So I stand, and wait, tapping my foot. And he smiles and gets his cute lil twinkle in his eyes.. he knows this is torture for me to wait. Gives me a smooch and then we run to to the gates together holding hands-- whhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhheeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee!!:goodvibes :goodvibes :goodvibes

So what time does your DH get home from work tonight/tomorrow? You said you didn't think he'd sleep, so will you take off right away??? :yay:

MAN, you must be revved! :drive:

He will get home at about 6:45 in the morning.... We are going to go ahead and take off then. I totally forgot to send a note to school with Alex letting his teacher know he wouldnt be there tomorrow.:headache: I am nervous... I always have this horrid feeling we will run out of money.. But I know we shouldnt! Unless something horrid happens, that is!

:rotfl2:

That sounds like DH and me! Well, except for the whole smoochie-skippy thing. :lmao:

I'm standing in line, watching him ssssslllllooooowwwwwlllllyyyyy walk up, it drives me insane! :rotfl:

We are two totally different people on vacation. I get really hyper (I'm usually not), and he gets really mellow and relaxed (he's usually doing/thinking about 20 different things at once at home.) We discovered this on our honeymoon, when I was suddenly sleeping only 5 hours a night (I'd wake up at 4 a.m. and watch the sun rise), and he was sleeping for 12 hours a night. It scared me so bad that first night that I finally woke him after 12 hours, because I was afraid he was sick. Naahhhhh, just wiped out after all the wedding stuff, finally got a chance to relax. :cloud9:

Oh, great. That big rig out in front of the neighbor's house must be a wood-chipper/tree-felling service. I just got DS3 down for nap, and they parked the thing right in between the two houses and got it running. IT IS LOUD!!! I heard a buzz saw earlier, so now they must be chopping up the downed tree/limbs.

The noise freaked the cat out , so thought I'd better go check on DS; he's in our bed, which is RIGHT NEXT to the truck. Sure enough, he was sitting straight up, but at least didn't look scared like the cat! I tried to persuade him to nap in his own bed (at least it woudln't be right next to his head that way), but he's insisting on staying in "Daddy's bed."

yeah... we get all antsy on vaca. On our first trip to DL, I was up at 6am every morning, raring to go!:lmao: SOOO not me!:rotfl2: I would get up, get things ready, Alex would wake up and we would sit around waiting for DH and Mikalah to get up. On our first day, we were trying to figure out where to go eat, and dh was SOO excited to get started on our Disney exp. he wanted to hit DTD... We went for dinner at the Jazz Kitchen. What a great way to start a vacation!:cloud9: Dh is really chill all the time, but when we go on a trip, he is all excited like a little kid!!!!:lmao:

I hate it when people are doing things loudly at nap time!! Before our new neighbors moved in, they came out to clean the carpets at 9:30 at night!!! HELLO!! My kids are sleeping! My crazy neighbor lady came down and yelled at them!:lmao:

sleep on vacation ????!!

NEVER!

Total waste of time. It's go go go!!

:lmao: :lmao: Sounds like my sis! She was talking about Christmas, and going from open to close... With no breaks... 6:30-midnight? With a 2yo and a 5yo? :sad2: I dont think so!!:lmao:

That's funny. DH's motto was always, "Sleep?! I'll get plenty of sleep when I'm dead!"

Ha, ha. Not so funny now. Did you see the recent article linking lack of sleep to high blood pressure and heart disease?

In fact, I think I'm going to find it (I think it was in the Seattle Times) and email it to him... :rolleyes1

Finally, an advantage to having a crazy neighbor! :rotfl2:

You should see how big my bf's eyes get when I dance to the Hannah Montana theme song. :happytv:

uh seeing a 27 yo dancing to kid songs and not having kids yourself??? i would look at you crazy too :rotfl:

Sucks, huh? Mikalah is SOO attached to me... I cant poop without her sitting next to me!:lmao:

you better enjoy it now because im telling you there will come a time and it will come fast when they dont even want to be in the same room with you:sad2:

Sweet! Just checked the 10-day forecast for Anaheim; sunny and upper 70s!!! :woohoo:

which basically means in the 80's...whatever the weather says you need to up it about 10º

I hope I get to hang out with you Alex! Bernice should come too! :dance3: Alex- we will show you the secret bathroom (with Lynn's security clearance of course) and "Uranus." :teeth:

:scratchin i will take serious consideration into allowing that...however, I feel that one has to earn the right to be allowed to enter my secret domain so Alex, I would like a 500 word essay as to why I should let you see the secret bathroom....
Staley!!! I'm so excited for you!!! One more day!!!

A whole week before I talk to you again, though. That's gonna be rough. I'm gonna be going through Staley withdrawal. :guilty:

Thanks for the tip. Guess I'll have to venture out to WalMart after all. It's weird, I guess it's not that much further than Alderwood Mall, but I just never go to Mill Creek, ya know? I can pick up a few snack type things for the trip, too.

I went to Walgreens this morning, too. Not one of my usual haunts, but Fred Meyer doesn't carry the VO5 shower gel deep conditioner I like to use, so thought I'd check there. They had TWO little bottles left, so I nabbed 'em. Also got some Dramamine (or was it Bonine?) and wandered through the kids' toys and Halloween aisles. I bought a bunch of Halloween candy that was on sale, so we're all set there, plus some M&Ms for the trip. I'm gonna find some raisins/other dried fruit and some nuts to make a sort of trail mix to carry into the park with us. Do you suppose food kinda stuff is better to carry with you or in checked luggage???

yeah I totally agree with Staley....dont check it...carry it on:thumbsup2

Early on in our marriage we lived in an apartment, and the guy downstairs from us always gave me the willies. Never spoke, never looked you in the eye, never smiled. A couple times I heard him shouting obscenities, for like half an hour! I assume he was talking to someone on the phone, because there didn't appear to be anyone over. And one time there was a little boy with him, like maybe 4 or 5yo. I assumed it was his son, but GEESH, I hoped it wasn't! I can't imagine having a Dad that creepy! :scared:

btw hey girlies:goodvibes staley im so excited for you...tomorrow being the big day and all...does alex teacher know that hes not going to be in school next week?

ok its been awhile since I had a serious issue of my own but as we all do here it is....staley do you remember I told you I had bloodwork done last week?

When we first moved, a couple of months later a young couple moved in upstairs with a teeny baby. He was Army, and had just gotten back from Iraq. Fast forward a few months... The cops show up... Shes missing, her family comes and takes the baby away... a few days later, they find her down by the Tacoma Waterfront... Dead. He had killed her so he could be with his 15yo girlfriend!! I was FREAKING OUT!!!!

Yup! I let her know last week, and just shot off an email reminding her.
