So what's up? How was everyone's day?

Mine was A-Okay. I am totally feeling better, I have been sick for a few days. I had a killer headache earlir, but it is gone now, and I feel peachy!

Alex got PUNCHED in the eye on the bus today.... I was livid! I asked him what happened, who did it? He said he didnt know the boys name, but he has his bus stop. So we will find out on Monday.

mine was good i am almost finished with my kiddos costumes just have to do ds4 shirt and applique the mickey/minnie pirate heads...whooo hooooo

OMG, you're kidding!

I would be red-hot too! Was it a bigger kid, or someone his own age? Bad enough if it's a kid his size, but a bigger kid should have some BIG consequences.

That's horrible about what happend to your DS!!! I would be angry too!! Did he say why that boy did that?

yeah... pretty sure it was a bigger kid. I felt SOO bad for him! he walks off the bus crying, with dirt all around his eye, and I said, "Whats going on?" and he told me... I am such a bad mom. The first thing I asked was, "Did you hit him back?" He said he told the kid that he liked his shoes, and the kid punched him in the eye. I dont understand. I think he was afraid that he was going to get in trouble, because I was PISSED. I had to keep reassuring him that I wasnt mad at him. Nobody has the right to hit him. I told him on monday he needs to show daddy who it was. Dh asked me if I wanted him to beat the kid up! Ummm... NO! But we can find out what happened, and report it to the school.

"Show Daddy who it was"? Oooooooooo! That would be risky business in our house. Hopefully your DH can keep his cool under those circumstances. What a little &*%$! Unbelievable, Alex says he likes his shoes and he hauls off and punches Alex??? Definitely call the school, and I think the bus driver is supposed to be made aware, also. GEEZ!

he used to be friends with this kid ,and he has a ton of problems and his mom is really a beeeeaaaacccchhhhh they had a ugly argument and he just threw him in front of a car and so my dh called the cops they came out and said that we really couldn't do alot but to talk to the principal so we did and the principal had the nerve to tell me to put all of my kids in the car and drive all of 7 mins to get them so i said i will go to the district let's just say they are keeping there eye on this kid and his brothers for any reason to kick them outta our district...

How could the bus driver not notice?? I would think that he or she would. I hope you find out that little punks name. Hopefully his parents are Mr. & Mrs. Punk!

I am just about done with this school. With everything Alex has been telling me, I am SOO close to homeschooling. If he has anymore issues with the bus, we are driving him from know on. Anything else at school, and I am taking him out. I am just DONE!

I walked up to the bus, and the driver looked at me, shut the door and drove off!! The comes off like a total jerk. He yells at the kids, and always seems to have an attitude. I am just about done with this school. With everything Alex has been telling me, I am SOO close to homeschooling. If he has anymore issues with the bus, we are driving him from know on. Anything else at school, and I am taking him out. I am just DONE!

isn't it funny how schools push that they are safe but when a problem arrises no one gives a crud.. if you do home school you are a good person i will make my dh work 10 jobs so that my kids can go to a charter school before i homeschool 5 monkeys i don't think i could do that..

I have had real reservations about it, but doing research on it, I really think that if we do it right, it wont be to bad. Besides, so far, we only have the 2!

I don't blame you Staley. That's just awful what's been happening and going on there. Are there other schools in the area?
