How is everyones day so far? Today I killed a spider and two pill bugs. I wonder how many I'll kill tomorrow.

multitasking here...

empty and refilled dishwasher, set eggs to boil and planning my attack on dinner. Chicken Noodle soup sounds good...
ohhhh and I want the boys to help me make cookies.

I find I get more industrious in the fall, cooler temps.. no kids under foot.. ahhhhhhh I like it!

We are having steak stir fry.. But yeah... I guess I should get going on things. Booo....

HI CHRISTINA!!!!

your suppose to say Okaly dokalie!

Albort I always wonder so I'm gonna ask, does it bother you that everyone on the dl pages tries to find you or do you care? Some of them are obsessed wtih finding you, it's pretty funny for the rest of us but I always wonder if it freaks you out. :3dglasses

Not much shakin here... we had our mini earthquake a few weeks ago though ;)

eek! Was it scary? Dh doesn't want to move to Cali because of the earthquakes and I'm always telling him oh it's no big deal but I've never experienced one, I don't know how I would react.

The earthquake epicenter was a few miles away, it was only a 2.3. We just felt this odd rolling bump for a second and then it was gone.

I think we get little ones once a month or so.. but we never feel them.

I'm more scared of traffic accidents than earthquakes!:scared:
These people are NUTS!!!

 Once a month? Holy smokes that seems like alot.

Our last trip to California Dh drove us from Anaheim through LA and over to Universal city, he thought the drive was so easy but me over the passenger seat just about threw up twice (from the constant speeding up and stopping) and I kept slamming on the air brakes. It was so scary. Dh learned to drive in Texas where traffic is always bumper to bumper so I think he could drive blindfolded in a snowstorm and he'd say it was an easy drive.

wow there were lots of earthquakes last week according to that thing. Over by Santa Ana. Palmdale has none so I think I'll move there.

Funny but true: We lived in California (the Bay Area) for 4 years when I was a kid. We had lots of earthquakes, but they always seemed to come overnight, and I slept through them all.

Never felt one until we moved to the Seattle area. Had one early in the morning, and my bed was shaking violently from head to foot. I growled at my sister to "knock it off" and she sleepily asked, "What?" Then we both sat bolt upright! :scared1:

There have only been 3 others that scared me; one was when DH and I were home, and I think I was pregnant with DS7 at the time. There was this eery rolling sensation, wave after wave after wave. At first it sounded like a truck had run into the house, then when the waves started, DH grabbed me and pulled me into a doorway with him. GEESH, it just seemed to go on forever!

The other two occurred when I was at work downtown. I used to work in a tall building and was on the 9th floor. I had a window cube overlooking the U-District and Lake Washington and Lake Union, and all of a sudden the whole building began to shake. And I'm right next to a wall of glass! I jumped up and ran into a co-worker's cube, who was situated next to the elevator bay (supposedly the safest place in the building. I just jumped into her cube and she looked up like, "Uh... Hi. WTH are you doing?!" :rotfl:

Another time was when we were in a meeting, maybe 10 or 12 of us in a conference room. This was another of the big rolling ones, and the building began to sway back and forth, totally creepy! While everyone else dove under the little conference table, I flung open the door and ran toward the elevator bay again, until a friend shouted, "Duck and cover!" I stopped, then ran back into the conference room. WTH?!?! She laughs herself silly over that one to this day.

well, considered that not a lot of people have found me... im not too worried about it...

besides, im hoping to do something else so while they look all over ODV for me, i probably be somewhere else :P

On second thought.. I think the one we felt was 3.something

on the list it says we had a few in our city in the last week, never felt them.

I'm hoping you'll tell us if you are no longer working with the public...?
