Thanks, Lynn. We didn't do anything spectacular, just grilled some steaks and exchanged some lovely cards. I wanted to get him one of those musical cards, but they're just not as fun to give unless there's like a whole crowd of people watching. Like in the commercial where the guy opens the card at work and it plays "Wild Thing"?

So it was just a regular ol' mushy card.
And he gave me a regular ol' mushy card, too.

It's only the 3rd day of school for them, and they're all 3yo, so likely the first time they've been away from mommy. We've hardly ever used a sitter, so I understand why it's so hard for DS3, and I'm guessing it's similar for this little girl. She looks East Indian, so maybe she's only ever been with family, and now she's in a class with people that look and sound different. She really looked kinda scared, and I felt bad. I knew I probably shouldn't pick her up, though. When the teacher came to take her off me, she tried to run away, like she was scared of the teacher. But the teacher is sooo nice, I can't imagine she's ever been unkind, probably just that the little girl knew I wasn't going to take her if the teacher got her hands on her!

We leave in a little over 3 weeks, can you believe it?!?! How quick were the designers? Is that even realistic to order shirts and make them beforehand? Hmmm...
