So I was reading in the paper this week that Pakistan grows almost all of the heroin in the world, more than enough for the demand around the world. And most of it comes to the good ol' USA.

And according to Courtney Love, heroin is the drug of choice among Seattleites. (And I think I saw that statement legitimized in the news recently.)

So I figure Washington state is a huge financial market for Pakistan. Who knew? :confused3

yep definitely tacos. probably been in the trash again. :sad2:
Uh-oh! Suspicious taco breath, a dead giveaway! :sad2:

Ugh... Don't wanna be at your house in a few hours when they work their way through his little system and out the other end. He'll be sounding like Christina's DH! :scared1:

Hello Hyenas!! My, havent we had a busy busy morning? I went to Alex's school this morning, and let them know about Alex missing a week of school. I asked his teacher what I should work with him on... She said make sure he can recognize his numbers 1-10, and the first 5 letters of the alphabet...:confused3 Ummmm... he can do all that already!!! Why the heck am I sending him to kindergarten again?

We also had a talk about the lunch box issues, they do it wierd, and he is supposed to pick up his box after school on the way to the bus.. But its never out! So this morning the teacher went looking for it, and found it in a 5th grade class room..:confused3 She said it really is easier for them to buy it, less chance of him loosing his box, and he actually gets to eat. I dont know why, but he doesnt get to eat all his lunch when he brings it to school.:confused3

Anyways... She says he is doing really well in class, good listener, and what not, but he gets anxious.. okay, what the heck does that mean?

I've been seen seeing a lot of drug busts lately in my area. I'm not sure what's going on but it's always teens. I live in one of the safest cities in CA because we have TONS of cops. I just never knew there were that many druggies here.

HUH? I don't get the lunch box thing.

Does that mean he doesn't get his lunch box until later inthe lunch hour and that's why he doesn't get a chance to eat all of it??
What if he had allergies? School lunch wouldn't even be an option for some kids (I know it isn't for my nephew.) Besides, they are expensive compared to a bagged lunch from home.

hmm, anxious? about what?
Wanting to know "what comes next?" in the schedule?
anxiety about doing the right thing and answering eveything right??

It's scary sometimes because when I drive home at night, most of the time there are a bunch of teens standing in front of a local church driveway. There all smoking and they look dazed

That doesn't make sense to me either. How could bringing one's lunch to school mean that you have less chance of eating it? Your child already knows the alphabet and numbers and that's just odd that she would say he needs to learn that. :confused3
