Untangled Salon

Hoping now that some people have been able to check in (30 days) they can share some info on the Salon hair styling options? On my booking it says these are available at check-in day (still about 60 days off for me). Ideally I'm looking for a French braid or something similar but really curious about what they have on offer and pricing. I know they have the Fire & Ice Mani/Pedis as they were available to book with the other activities its just the hair things that weren't I think.

The Salon is on a main hallway with large windows with people passing by and looking in. If you are a private person and don't want people seeing you "not at your best" lol maybe rethink it. I know some don't care, some do so just an FYI.

The location and windows turned me off a little…I had a blowout appointment and canceled it on the MV.

I believe booking in advance you can only book over 18 but that you can book over 9s once onboard (it might be even younger but not sure)

I had a single braid and it was $29 plus 18% grat and I paid a bit extra on top. It lasted for the full 6 days of our cruise (I was on the Wish extended 4 night cruise due to Hurricane Ian). It was a nice experience and I would do it again as it meant the hair was off my face for almost the entire holiday.

I would not recommend the Tangled salon for braid service. We did this for my younger daughter on our cruise - she did two French braids @ 29$ a braid. It was not well done and did not last more than 1 day. Plus the man who did it took about 5 mins to complete it so it was not even a great experience (we were told to allot an hour - but it was because they were including washing and blow drying for an additional fee but my daughter had washed her hair before we got there). It was honestly the only thing that I felt completely taken advantage of when we were on ship. My older daughter did the manicure there and that seemed to be a better experience. Because both are under 18 we had to wait until we were on board to book.

I would say that I didn't think mine was very secure when I had it done but it did last a very long time. I think we had the same person as I'm sure mine only took around 10 minutes.
