Pop Daddy - this is gonna be a long post dear...you've been warned.
I was reading this thread in the Theme Parks board about the worst things people have witnessed in the parks. There was a lot of the usual: stroller runner overs, wheelchair disrespecters, line cutters, public piddlers, scantily clad no fashion sensers etc.
But there were also a few that really bugged me , such as a lady who pushed and shoved her way into a row at B&TB and fell on someone and then began shouting racial slurs at her and otherwise behaving like a loon, or the guy who berated and pushed a CM on the Pooh Ride and esp. the idiot who claimed she was a CM and spent an entire evening parade harrassing a family with racial slurs and other nonsense and eventually physically assaulted people. Then there was the oh so classy lady who took out a spatula and beat her small child with it.
None of these people were removed from the parks and IMO, they should have been shown the door and not refunded. In at least TWO of these cases, I truly feel that if the incidents occurred as the posters say, that not only should these people been booted, but assault charges should have been filed.
What about the people who walk around with really offensive shirts on? Should Disney be allowed to ask people to turn their shirts inside out if the choose to wear an R rated shirt to a PG rated theme park? IMO, they should. If you want to wear some classless shirt with Bleep You written all over it, than that is your right but not to wear it to a theme park full of small children. Same goes for graphics of naked people etc. on shirts.
How about the people who think it's okay to spit on other people, or walk around naked (such as the guy who was walking around a food court in the hotel with his, as the poster put it, winkie flapping in the wind through his unzipped pants). I mean can't spitting on people put them at risk for any communicable diseases you may have? Isn't walking around with your private parts exposed illegal???
IMO, these types of behaviors are being allowed to slide more and more it seems, and I personally think Walt Disney would have wanted these people sent on their way and not interupting the family atmosphere of his dream parks. Not only that but it serves as an example that this kind of trashy behavior is not accepted by the general public.
There was also a post about a moron who complained about prices of meals at a resteraunt and got his meal for free, while everyone else in the place paid full price! Should this have been allowed?? Isn't this kind of taking customer service TOO far??
So what I'm wondering is what do you think SHOULD constitute an offense worth kicking someone out without refund?
In my world, if I ran WDW the following would get ADULTS kicked out :
*Any intentional physical assault on another guest or CM, whether they are related to you or not. IMO, if you want to beat your child/spouse/parent I can't do much, but I can kick your pathetic butt off my property so you don't do this in full view of others.
*Anyone who spits on a non related guest or CM (siblings spit on each other sometimes, I understand this)
*Anyone who uses a racial slur towards or continuously berates another guest or CM. They'd get one warning to knock it off.
*Refusal to turn inside out shirts with overtly sexual pictures or sayings or swear words. Again, that's your right to wear it, but not on my property.
Also
*Complaints about the cost of food or goods would not be met with free meals, but with suggestions as to where you might consider dining that costs less
*Line cutters (not family members catching up but OBVIOUS cutters) would be pushed back to the end of the line.
What do you all think?
