Unreliable rides?

It seems Rise of the Resistance has been the center of many comments I have read on these boards because it has broken down so much during these opening weeks. I also read (and have experienced) that Test Track breaks down a good bit. I don't remember Smuggler's Run breaking down lots, and I didn't follow Flight of Passage at its opening. What rides have become infamous for breaking down a lot? Is it usually just at the beginning until they get the "kinks" worked out, or do some, like Test Track, continue to consistently break down?

I think much of it has to do with how technologically advanced the attraction is. Rise of the Resistance is the most ambitious attraction ever developed, and it is very new, so it is natural it is going to experience more "kinks" than a simpler attraction. Conversely, Smugglers Run doesn't go down as much, as it is essentially a highly themed, immersive simulator. When I went on the unDISCOVERed Future World tour, we toured the backstage area behind Test Track, and our guide spent a bit of time discussing the technology involved, how many sensors are on each car, how the cars communicate with the track, etc. I was surprised to learn just how many different systems are involved in the attraction.

Also, if Rise goes down, there's one ride track so the entire ride goes down. Smuggler's Run has 4 turntables so if one goes down, the line is still going to move. Flight of Passage also has 4 theaters, thus if one goes down, the other 3 can still take guests.

Primeval Whirl seemed to have a lot of issues.
Besides weather, it seems I’ve seen a number of outages for Space Mountain and Peoplemover.

I don’t hear as much about FEA now, but it and it’s previous version, Maelstrom had regular problems.

I’ve been stuck on Spaceship Earth for extended periods at least once per trip. It’s a continuous loader, so it does stop when folks needing extra time to transfer are loading, but I’m not counting those pauses. We’ve gotten to where we will not board SE if an ADR or FP is approaching, and we always potty first! Not fun being trapped with the cavemen for an hour needing to pee and knowing you’re missing your Soarin FP, lol!

There’s a BIG gap fromTest Track to whatever’s third worst. I will toss out Alien Saucers as well. One side of the other seems to be down an awful lot.

One of the turntables for MFSR has been down for a week and a half. Like TimmyBoy said it depends on the type of ride vehicle/system

All of them? It's for sure easier to talk about those that don't go down much compared to all the rides that do go down a lot.
Some are worse than others but really, everything seems to go down at one point or another during a typical trip.
Due to the nature of having 4 theaters Soarin' may be one that doesn't seem to go down entirely.
I'm not sure I've seen Land go down very often.
Anyway, they run the things to death, pushing more and more out of them. They rebel every so often, LOL
