Unplugging someone from your hook up

i was plagued with the same situation one time. However I handled it a little differently. I showed up camper plugged into my spot. i knocked with no success and there was no car in the drive. I then unhooked him, plugged in and was a nice guy. I did not want to camp next to this guy all weekend and have a problem. however. I then took his plug to the right pedestal and guess what there was no power at his site. being fearful that he might have his gas turned off and all his frig stuff would be ruined i walked back over to my pedestal. there was a 20 amp plug. i used a dog bone 20 ampto 30 amp adapter and plugged him in. his air kicked back on so i knew he once again had power. he came back about 2 hours later and walked over and apologized for being plugged in to my pedestal. I showed him what i had done. he then explained that the his pedestal had a problem and the campground promised it would be fixed that day. it was late in the day we rode up to the office together before it closed. they came and fixed it shortly after. he treated me to god knows how many beers that weekend for being nice. this is not always the case.sometimes people just do it for stupid reasons as being mentioned above. I have no sympathy for them, but I usually try to think they did it for a purpose. however if it is for an obvious stupid reason and the guy is an ***** i agree with cutting the cord in as many places as i can and saying i saw a park lawnmower hit it

Where is the "Leave him plugged in but stuff a grapefruit in his stinky slinky" option? I'd pick that. Just sayin.

That could be deadly, especially if you are camping next door. Make sure the wind is blowing the other way. :lmao:

I usually park my truck in the guys spot, so he can't get in.

The funniest thing, is that when I sobered up enough to look on the site, he had the note on my windshield. Then I read the note, expecting to get cussed out (and deserving it, but I was drinking until 2am, when did this guy show up) and he asks me instead not to fire up the diesel early in the morning....

He was from Texas. Nice guy, better than all them other texas people:lmao:

This thread brought back a memory of the last 4th of July GG. Someone in our group (name not used to protect the innocent) parked his truck on the site next to him while he was cooking and ended up leaving it there. Sometime that night a guy comes in and somehow manages to still get in the site. The next day he leaves a note on the truck asking if he can move it over some so he can fit. The weird thing was when the guy left in the morning he took his tt and everything then came back at night.

It never ceases to amaze me how when people do things like the pp mentioned the person who is right get's cussed out.
