Now if someone would start flying non-stop to Myrtle Beach from Maryland we would be set!

Hi all- just a heads up- if you use BWI as your airport, USA3000 will soon be starting non-stop flights to Melbourne, FLA. This will be nice alternative to MCO if you are visiting VB.

Rates are pretty low- I saw flights as low as $69 one way.

This is great news! I just purchased a contract for VB (waiting for ROFR now) so this sounds like it would definitely be cheaper! I wonder if the rental cars from there would also be a little less? Do you know exactly when these flights might start?

I think they are starting in December. I put in dates for January '08 from BWI to Melbourne and they have flights showing so definately by January.

I think you have to go to usa3000.com to check flights- they don't show up on Expedia, Orbitz...

Hi - we live in Freeland, Maryland. We have belonged to DVC since 2002 - we have 450 points at the Beach Club Villas and 200 at Hilton Head. We go about twice a year - May and December are our favorite. We last went to Hilton Head in June and WDW in March. We love it - and especially love to bring our 7 grandkids. They actually like Hilton Head more than WDW (although they love them both).

By the way, I had never heard of USA3000 - thanks for the tip! We are going down in December and we hadn't made flight reservations yet.

I checked USA3000 website, and I didn't see any flights to Orlando, just Melbourne. So you may want to also have another carrier in mind. Of course, Southwest is just awesome from BWI!
