I stayed at POFQ 2x and really liked it, I like it's compactness compared to POR.

Hi there. My husband and I will be at POFQ March 3-14. Can't wait! We booked the wishes fireworks party for the 7th (my birthday). Somebody mentioned the castle show.....will we be able to see it from the party (terrace)? We have a room only reservation and have received are Magical Express tags/vouchers. Should we expect any other Mickey mail?

If you have a RO, I think all you get are the ME tags. You should be able to see the castle show, but as far as how well, I dunno. I guess it depends on where you stand.

I believe you can see the castle show from the Party if you want the link below will take you to a review of the party with pics, you can see the view of the castle from the Tomorrowland Terrace.

My Mickey Mail came today! Love the luggage tags. Four weeks from Sunday I'll be in the sunny, happy place! Woo hoo!

Is it just me, or are the boards really really slow? I thought I could speed up loading time by turning off sigs and photos, but it doesn't help.

Anyone else getting nervous because the resorts are starting to book up? So far CBR and POR are completely booked. Maybe that OMDD promo worked after all?

Maybe some of the rooms are blocked out for refurbs?

Besides, no changes on TP yet. They're pretty good at keeping up with potential crowd levels.

Are the TP predictions low? I remember at one point they were still pretty high. I thought that it might be due to the previous year being Mardi Gras screwing with the algorithm????

I agree the luggage tags are totally awesome. I yelled to DH to look at them he said they made him dizzy

I am not too worried, seems there is lots of room still at the Deluxe Resorts, it is the mods and maybe the values that are full? I have not checked the values so not sure. Plus there seems to be lots of availability at the restaurants.

WOW lots of us at POFQ at that time....DH, myself and DD9 will be there march 3-9! Can't wait!! We stayed at FQ two years ago and CSR last year.....so missed FQ and we are ecstatic to be going back! See you all there

We stayed at POFQ years ago and holds a fond place in my heart, we have also stayed at CSR but you can not beat POFQ with it's small size.

TP has predictions pretty low in the parks for my days. But I can't quote them on any other days. I only looked at March 3-9, as those were the days I'm tracking. Resort crowds bounce around a bit, but the park days aren't too shabby. Even some of the avoid parks are nice, low numbers.

Mods are probably full because of the FD promo. It was cheaper for most families to book a mod with reg FD than it was booking a value and upgrading. (It was in my case, so it has to be in some other families, too.)

I so agree with you about the moderate resorts being the best deal during FD.

I chose my DHS day based on the fact that the day before was pm EMH and the park closes at 7. I expect that to keep the crowds down on March 6th as people will want to DHS either the night of EMH or later in the week when the park is open until 8pm

My MK day even though TP says it is not a good day, I know they are taking into account there is no showing of MSEP on the 7th, which to me is no biggy and I feel will have guest heading to MK the evening it is showing.

I can not wait to see who is right me or TP

Me too when I first looked at them! I have to hold them at the right angle so that they don't move.

I have to confess that the last time I spent much time on these boards was over five years ago. There are probably a lot more users now.

So many people going to POFQ at the same time, Ill have to remember to wear my green dis head in case I see anyone.

I am a little worried about the crowds for the weekend I am going, but since it is only the time I can go I will have to deal with it.

If anyone want to come say hi in my PTR it's in my siggy. It's the one that say I need some Disney Magic now. Don't let the name through you, its actually for a trip I plan to take next year with my DD, but since this trip has sprouted up I will just add it to what is already going on.

I have to be honest, I did go through a momentary panic when TP changed DHS from best part to park to avoid on 3/6 and you know I can not even remember why it changed but they always say the day after pm EMH is a good day to visit any of the parks so I am holding steady and keeping my fingers crossed. DHS was the park in 2009 that we literally ran to the boat and escaped from as my Ddil had a panic attack, the crowds were just horrible you could not even walk down the street and then we got caught in the parade crowds which put her over the edge. It happened to be a night when F! was scheduled, hopefully now that they are showing F! every night the crowds will not be as bad.

I'm exhausted just watching/waiting for the DIS to load The slowness of the site is finally getting to me. I thought it was my IPad initially, but I'm on a desktop now and it's no better.

FWIW, I'm still stoked about the March trip--I've never seen the Flower and Garden Show
