We are going on a Adult Trip with another couple March 5th to the 13th. Will also be celebrating my wifes bday on the 12th. We will be staying at POP. And very well may take part in the DIS Meet during this trip!

mreid1974 Added you to the list on page 1. We have a lot of Birthday People going in March. Mines the 14th but I will celebrating early, darn peak rates anyhow.

That sounds like a great plan! I'd be tempted to try it on a future trip when I didn't feel like it was a "waste" if we didn't like it, and I could also dine on things I know I'd love!

I will let you know if eating there turns out to be a mistake, although if it makes DH a Happy Camper like I think it will, I won't regret going there no matter how bad the food is.

Your ADRs look great! I'm a huge fan of 50s PTC! We enjoyed TE last year. It wasn't anything over-the-top ... it was just typical hibachi with a friendly chef (our local ones have grumpy chefs ). The desserts, however, were amazing! Okay, now I'm going to have to pop in for dessert.

Lunch - CS
ADR - Dinner - Biergarten Germany - 7:30 pm

24th - MK - B'day - BBB
ADR Breakfast - CRT - 9:50 am
Lunch - CS @ Cosmic Ray's
Dinner - maybe OOP someplace - Plaza Restaurant(?)

25th - AK -
ADR Breakfast - Tusker House - 8:20 am
Lunch - CS
Dinner – Yak & Yeti – 6:45 pm

26th – HS
Breakfast – OOP (at the resort? Slow start this day)
Lunch – OOP
Dinner – Ohana – 9:00 pm
This is my problem – the fantasmic show is scheduled for 8:30 pm. I’m not able to get a 6 – 6:30 pm ressie at Ohana. Do I just cancel the 9:00 pm ressie? And maybe do a fantasmic dining package (not too thrilled about the restaurants)? But would love to dine at Ohana too…
Or maybe Whispering Canyon, but cannot get a ressie for 6 – 6:30 pm…
I guess I’ll keep trying!

My whole challenge is figuring out the best way to use TS and OOP, so deciding on the ADR will help some!

If it were me I would try to find an ADR time for 'Ohanas for either your MK day the 24th or maybe your AK day the 25th then do dinner at DHS maybe even do a F! package for lunch or dinner

Seems like too much traveling to go from DHS over to the Poly then back to DHS for F!

I am guessing you do not have PH's or else if you do you could do an earlier ADR at Biergarten on the 23rd and then exit thru the Int'l Gateway and boat over to DHS for Fantasmic

Part of my Disney savings plan has been to come under budget on groceries every week. I have been putting the $aving$ in our "mickey jar". We have been eating DIRT CHEAP for months....so ready for some Disney yumminess!

Thank for all the good suggestions. I will try to play around with the ressies. I was hoping I was all set there...wishful thinking, perhaps. Can't wait to experience some of the dining magic that I've read so much about...

I save money for Disney the same way it is amazing if you watch your spending in the grocery store how much you can save. I love eating at Disney it is a big part of our trips. This is our first time ever using the DP and I am so looking forward to being able to order whatever I want off the menu without looking at the prices and feeling guilty. We are doing the Deluxe DP and I am going to feel like royalty ordering apps and desserts It will be my pleasure just having to pay the tips once we are actually there.

No, I totally feel you. DH went on salary, so his paydays are all screwy and I'm having to budget bills and groceries around it. Ack! So we're eating cheap and I'm seeking out sales. But in the end, once I get this sorted out, that's extra money that I can spend at WDW! (Just don't tell him.)

Everytime I go fix spaghetti ... I almost can't take it because I wish it was something DELICIOUS from Disney!

We rarely do a CS so TS get quite pricey unless you skip apps and desserts and that is not much fun when on vacation, so we have always had the OOP expense of the meals plus the tip anyway. Just having to shell out the tip is going to seem like a bargain.
I did go through the menus and guessed at what we might order and came up with my own cost analysis with a savings of 38% by buying the DxDP, granted if we were paying OOP we would skip some apps or desserts to save on the meal cost, but overall I am happy, first time ever with the DP and no looking at the prices, just order and eat.

Ok I will remember that once you post the new ADRs no more changeing

I made our reservation for the night before our flight tonight, we always stay near the airports with one of those stay park go packages. I got a email that they were having a sale so I said well might as well book it tonight and much to my surprise the rate was only $114 + tax, when I booked for Oct it was $160.
Next is to get a deal on a rental car if DH still wants to rent one.
