Unofficial Guide to Disneyland - only good if you have MM

I was reading the Unofficial Guide to Disneyland itineraries and found that they were basically useless if one didn't have the early entrance. The guide suggested just going to DCA if you didn't have early entrance. That seemed pretty extreme.

MM is only held on Sat, Sun, Tues and Thurs. Any other day, everyone starts at DL on an even playing field at the same time. So I would suspect their plans would be good if you planned your trip on a non MM day.

If you are interested in ride plans that do not take MM into account, have you looked into ridemax?

Unofficial guide plan works fine too if you don't get the early entry. just be at the gate when the park opens. You'll still do fine.

We had MM during our trip in Sept '07, and we'll have them on this trip, thanks to staying at PPH, but the other trips in between have been offsite and with APs. We found that just by avoiding Fantasyland and Tomorrowland at normal opening time, on MM days, we did very well. Go to Adventureland or Frontierland, or to New Orleans Square while everyone else is still stuck in the last line they got into before MM ended, and you'll do well.
