Just curious...since i'm going this Sunday (yay!), and i've heard from others about how great it is.

Can I ask what's so good about it?

TIA for the help. :wave2:

(btw, I have a ton of time at work so if you're wondering if i'll have time to read it...yep ::yes:: )

Have you been to www.wdwig.com and read that yet? Deb has more information about Disney than you'll know what to do with! I would start there and read read read. If you still feel like you want more information, I say go ahead and buy the book! Can't hurt to have it with you. :D

Have a WONDERFUL trip! I'm so jealous you get to go!:wave2:

this close to your trip I wouldn't get any where close to the Unofficial guide. I think it can set you up to notice what is wrong instead of what is wonderful. After your trip It might make for interesting reading and see if you agree with his ratings etc.

This is my favorite disney book!! I love the different ways to "do Disney" that they offer. One day with or w/o kids, dumbo or die trips you get the idea! I love the tips this book offers. Passporter is my 2nd favorite book.

I agree with the previous posters. If you had a month and didn't have much planned yet, the book is very useful. I also think it's useful for people who've not been in many years.

The book has a lot of good hints about touring plans which you defintiely could use, however I also think the book is more for the early planning portion of your trip.

With that being said, I have the 03, 04 and 05 ones and I love reading them because it makes me want to plan my next trip.

~If you want to read it without buying it go to your local library~

Our county library carries all kinds of WDW guide books.
Check it out!
(pun intended.lol.)

Have a Great Time!:wave2:

I'd buy it for the touring plans and restaurant reviews. To keep from being overwhelmed (it's over 700 pages), ignore a lot of it (how to get there, where to stay, touring Universal, etc.)

You need something to read on the plane:teeth:

YES.... buy it and read it.....it is fun and informative.... but sorry you waited until so close to trip time to read it. It has lots of information that would have been helpful earlier in the planning stages..... but by all means buy it!..................P
