Unnatural color hair in Europe

How neat! Have you visited?

Not yet, but it's definitely on my bucket list. I have ties to Salerno as well, so I'd like to visit both.

I HAVE LIVED IN europe off and on my entire adult life (Germany, Belgium, Italy) and have travelled extensively around the continent. No one will care about your hair colour. There are tons of people who have ’adventurous’ choices in hair styles/colours.

I should mention we are only planning on visiting one church, the Order of the Capuchin in Rome, and thats mainly to see the catacombs. Just in case that matters since I know there is a (clothing) dress code.

Churches in Europe mainly care that your shoulders and knees are covered, you keep your voice low and quiet and you're respectful. They don't care about the colour of your hair. Make sure you take a jacket or shawl that you can easily shove into a bag so you don't have to wear it all day and either wear long pants, skirt, capris or shorts that cover your knees and you'll be fine.

Thanks Ive got my outfit for that day sorted already, capris and a tank top with a very light button down shirt as a cover up (or possible a rash guard if its really sunny but not too hot). For my DH he does have shorts that go below the knee but Ive also read no shorts for men. Can anyone tell me specifically for the Capuchin church if men in shorts that cover the knee are ok? We are hoping to do the zoo that day as well so Id rather not put him in pants of he doesnt need to be.
