Anyone got pics from the tours?Back stories?

I won't have time to do it this year....and I am bummed...love all the info you get

TIA

The Ellen DeGeneres Show did a walk through. It looked awesome! They have a set that looks just like the prison from The Walking Dead. Wish I could go. I'm a haunter at a local attraction in Philly so I love scaring people but I would love to walk through theirs and be the one getting scared :goodvibes

We are doing the morning tour on the 5th. I have to admit I'm a little bummed about choosing the morning. I haven't been too keen on The Walking Dead (and my daughter simply hates it), so wasn't interested in that. But then I watched the 4th season and for some reason I really enjoyed it this time. Also would have loved to see the AvP house! I also hadn't watched Halloween before scheduling the tour. I've watched it since and don't understand what the fuss about that movie is... we thought it was pretty boring. That could be because I don't really care for slasher flicks.

I was one who didn't like the walking dead during its first season...my brother read the comics and said "OH come on...give it a chance"...I was sick one weekend and AMC had a marathon and I have been hooked ever since.

The Halloween thing for me is mainly sentimental...it was one of the first movies that really scared me...I have rewatched it as an adult and didn't think it was nearly as scary....but I am sure I will think differently the night I am in the house.

I am trying to figure out how I can fit in the tour...but it looks just too hard for such a short trip...I appreciate you guys sharing pics and info:thumbsup2

I was wondering if that was the case... I couldn't watch those kinds of movies back in the day so never actually saw it until now.

I know that's how it is for me...I am thinking others as well...I am sure a lot of the things that freaked me out as a kid I would laugh at now...I remember the first time I saw Jaws as an adult and saw the shark and thought WHAT in the world about that obviously fake thing terrified me??

My boyfriend will be taking his very first Orlando trip and the thing about classic Disney rides like Pirates and the Haunted Mansion are remembering how much I loved them as a kid too. It will be interesting to hear the perspective of someone who has never ever been.

I've read all the comics too and absolutely LOVE the show. My husband wasn't so much into that kinds of stuff but this show definitely grows on you because you get attached to certain characters and watching them go through this world and how it's changed them is epic writing if you ask me. The comics are awesome and differ from the books in many ways. If you like the show then you'll like them. I definitely recommend them to fans of the show.

I wish I was going to US in Halloween so I could walk through their set and see their zombies but our trip is already booked for November. So for now I'll have to settle for my zombie friends at my local haunt who take me down and tear me to pieces every weekend :thumbsup2

I am also a fan of the writing and acting in the show...it's just incredible...I guess I will have to give the comics are read.

And yes...that is probably the house I am looking forward to the most...two years ago, I loved it..especially the finale room

Anybody got pictures yet??

(Did I mention I am not very patient...lol)

TIA
Elizabeth
