Unmanned turnstile-DHS

A few years ago, I got to DHS prior to rope drop. I had read about getting in the unmanned turnstile line, versus the one that had 75 people in it. Did that, and a few minutes prior to opening, someone came to the turnstile and opened it. I was the first one in the park. Do they still do that? Can I go to an unmanned turnstile. Will they open it?

IF the turnstile isn't covered you can get in line there. If it is covered they are not planning on using it that day and IMO they are not going to uncover it for you. We've arrived at the park and started lines at uncovered turnstiles with no problem.

We make a line at uncovered turnstiles usually all the way to the right at all the parks except MK.
